Re: Paradox
Paradox is a nice coffeeshop tucked away off a quiet leafy street. THe owners son is super cool. Very laid back spot and good prices. They also have the BEST space cakes in AMS. Guaranteed. They are the strongest as they have the most THC in them. Can't wait for my annual trip to AMS to have a few s...

Re: Midweek trip
As far as food (and this may not be "TOP") but there is a place called Burger Bar and they have incredibly delicious hamburgers. Check'em out.
As far as smoke, generally speaking, the more expensive the stronger the THC content.

Re: How to clean a bong (properly)
The best way to get any glass bong clean and in new condition is to use isopropyl alcohol and dry rice grains. First, block off the small stem so that no fluid can leak out. Disposable paper towel works well. Next, pour a good amount of the alcohol into the bong along with the rice. Hold the bong fi...

Re: Bad turbulence to AMS?
Basically I'm asking if anyone here on the board has ever had any bad turbulence on flight to Amsterdam or anywhere. That's the only thing that worries me going to Amsterdam. Flying. I can't get hold of any valium, and my tummy + alcohol doesn't mix well with the ups and downs of the plane. There w...

Re: Dutchies Skeptical Wietpass Article
With Rokerij closing, it does seem a gradual dismantling of the coffeeshop system in the Netherlands, especially Amsterdam. Really is truly disappointing the whole affair. It has done so little harm and drinkers are mostly to blame... but I will not go on and beat the dead horses. Amsterdam is such ...

Re: Important: Dr. Grinspoon (Barney's)
I've had both the Quasar and Grinspoon from Amnesia and Barneys, respectively, in the last 2-3 years. It's a stringy, scant looking-bud, but gives a super good high. Very strong and what I bought much of from Barneys my last visit. I loved waking and baking up to to a spliff each morning, sitting on...

glad you had a good time!
it does cost a pretty penny for me too, but i do so enjoy my stays. I really like bicycling around where bikes are the dominant form of transportation.

Re: A good town to vist near Amsterdam.
Aside from Alkmaar, Den Haag and Utrecht both have a RLDs. Utrecht has them in houseboats. So Alkmaar does not have an RLD then, i thought it did. Do you know if Harleem has an RLD. And do most the RLD's have coffee shops in them to. Apologies for my "American English" - Aside as "in...
