Kush in 'Dam.

Post by dubsy420 »

Hi all, have not been on here in a long time.

Off to 'Dam on Monday 24/7 for my birthday, anybody have any Kush's that they would recommend that have been floating around the C/S's recently?

Any responses much appreciated.

Voyagers Notorious OG is often pretty good. I'm not a fan of their Dank of England but others like it.
Personally I'd probably head for Het Ballonetje and grab their Gorilla Glue #4.
*edit* Green Places 'Alien Technology' has been spectacular in the past (but expensive).

Thanks, OHM. I always go to Green Place so I will definitely check that out if they have it next week. Couldn't agree more, really didn't get the hype for Dank of England, pretty disappointing. First strain I tried last time I went and just found it's way to the bottom of the pile for the last day smoke out.

FBN, thanks. I will have a look, sometimes it just takes ages and not all kush strains will have kush in the title, so I might be ignorant to some of it. Asking with a thread like this would maybe catch the eye of people that are more informed than me on this type.

Same here  maybe we all got bad batches ^^ so many people talk good things about that strain... it´s strong but tastewise it´s not my favorite...

Notorious OG is a good advice. Batches are different, too but it really smokes like a good OG.

Greenplace is always one of the places to go for kush... they have a new kush on the menu called "Badman 18€/g" looked awesome but I wasn´t really impressed by the smell... but it looked like a heavy hitter. Also the "Mystery Kush" for 10€/g was the best kush I found in that price range.

Katsu had some superb OG Kush (0,7g/10€) at the beginning of the month. Tasty! smokes very nice with white ash. A good example of the strain and price is also good.

Easy Times has usually some great Kosher Kush (16€/g) on their menu

Grey Area has the largest variety of Kushes so I would check them out, too.

@OHM, Sweet bubba! That looks naughty. I will have to get some of that if they have it in, proper bud porn!

@Marok, yep, it would certainly appear so, different strokes and all that, though, I doubt i'll be trying it again so I will never find out if it was a bad batch  Green Place and Grey Area are always some of my first stops once I'm off the train and walking from Centrum. I remember liking the Vanilla Kush that Barneys/Amnesia had in last time, I might go to check that out again, too. I do plan on heading down Katsu andf 1eHulp way, so I will be sure to have a look in Katsu for that OG.

I remember Grey Area had a cross Kush strain, it was something like a diesel kush type, lovely stuff.

When's a good time to hit GA? I've heard it's queuing around the block at certain times. I'll be passing that exact location on 3rd of next month around 6 in the evening. But was thinking of detouring to Voyagers instead? So... GA or Voyagers?

Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw wth GA...usually a big queue at opening (Midday) but sometimes you'll find a quiet spell in the early afternoon, but then in my experience it gets a big queue again late afternoon onwards..but as said can be lucky so worth checking it out whilst passing by.

Both shops are worth checking out if you're curious, both can carry some lovely flavours.

I'll deffo be hitting up the Boer, but that'll be day 2 man. Got some cracking things last trip, but unfortunately did not get to enjoy them fully. Someone else did though so that's nearly ok.

I've always found this to be the case with GA too, flying out tomorrow at 11:00am, thinking GA will be one of my first stops after landing.

I have my usual spots I plan on going to like GA, Green Place, Dampkring, plan on making a trip out to Katsu and others too, will need to check out.

Will have to add Boerenjongens to the list and try those out. That's if I can remember

GA is so hit or miss. In some years, I walk by and no one is inside. Then other years I walk by and feel tempted to loudly announce, "This line is not the Anne Frank line!" just to see how many people get out of line and keep walking.
