Despite the reclassification from a Class C to a B, it emerged that when Home Secretary, Mrs Smith never met Prof David Nutt, her most senior scientific adviser at the time.

WTF - it's kinda like saying - Not only did I get it wrong, it's because I couldn't even be arsed to look at the damn evidence being handed to me on a plate by the people the government employ to look scientifically into the facts.
