Hello ACD'ers,
Nice to greet you!
I'm a (very) long time lurker on this site who's finally come around to setting up an account. I look forward to being a part of this community and contributing to it when possible.
Currently, my experience with coffeeshops is rather limited. That I hope to change.
All the best,
TBM

Re: Hello there.
Thank you!
Yes, Maastricht was a very nice place to visit on a day trip back in the day (at the time I regularly found myself within driving distance of the city), although some CS' were overrun by tourists from France and Belgium (myself included, sort of).
I found Maxcy's by walking around the streets of Maastricht. Looking back, I was probably lucky compared to where else you might wound up. On one occasion a friend of mine insisted on going to either Mississippi or Smoky (I don't recall which one) based on his good experience there. Regardless, I found it to be a horrible kind of place (no windows, very loud and bad electronic music, not my kind of crowd) and way too commercial kind of a place. My mate was ultimately disappointed with both quality and quantity there.
In the past I've heard good things about Wall Street, Kosbor and other places, but never got around to visit them when they were accessible. Shame.
