another way to look at it is the android is the competition for the iphone. The droid uses windows where the iphone is like a mac for phones. different OS.

Not to insult but better educate my fellow stoners...

"Smart phone" is an advertising gimmick. All phones have operating systems regardless of maker. Yes even those shitty phones that don't do anything "cool" like Grandma has also have operating systems.

Paying for a service that would be dirt cheap if it wasn't run by profiteering gluttons is never smart, but we gotta be adults...
