"Gandhi" on the Damrak. Seriously good Indian food although the entrance is a bit dodgy. Shares an entrance corridor with a "Sauna".

Anyone say FEBO yet?
I'll get me coat
More seriously I like Thai Bird but watch out for the portion sizes. They are huge. However by standards of Thai cooking what they are doing there is nothing special really. Great place for something quick and tasty. Spicy too if you like.
The Ribs at 'Famous chicken and Ribs.'
What's good about this place you might think? Well, when you are stoned and hungry it is a wonderland of meat and bone and potato. I'll eat them right there or take em in a box someplace close.
Before you turn your nose up at these places bear in mind they both serve hot food which you can consume at a table on the premises for under/around 10 euros. Both places will fuel your body nicely for the rest of the day.
Think of them as gas stations for the stomach.

One of my favorites is Peppino on Leidsekruisstraat 30-32.
I remember sitting outside having lunch with Blueberry, when a beer truck almost ran me down.
Blueberry just happened to be filming at the time......Enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBBvtCr0lAk

Blueberry introduced us to Peppino's a few years ago, been going every visit since.
The service was good, the food was excellent, and down the street is Rookies.
Cheers
