Do seeds smell....give of a scent??

Will pick up some seeds on my upcoming trip to A'Dam....not that keen on sending them home via mail and will probably stash in my luggage somewhere.

Do they give off a scent? - I'm worried about sniffer dogs at the various airports I need to get through on my way home.

Also, train travel across Europe (Amsterdam into Germany) what sort of border control or authorities would I expect to encounter please? I am not from either country.

Most seed shop seeds have been washed and therefore have no odor.

Although I have not encountered it, there are tales of German police boarding trains with dogs at stops along the way.

If you have a chunk of hash you can stash it elsewhere (such as the waste bin at your seat) and retrieve it when you exit.
