Thanks, MrC. I'm glad you enjoyed the pics, but did the Root Ball fill your Bud porn fantasy.  The 4" air stone that I use, made an impression into the roots on the bottom they were so packed in there.
Right now, I have an air fan going on low to help circulate the air and remove the moisture from the buds. We don't want bud rot. :x Now it's 6 to 10 days of drying, a light trim before going into the mason jars. Then the most important part happens... it's curing time. :D
Stay tuned.

Good afternoon, evening ACD'ers. Well, it's been a week since harvesting & drying the Zkittles. I tried to go longer, unfortunately the coolest I keep the house right now, is 78 degrees. The next grow will be much cooler when I harvest, so I'll be able to go a few more days. I did have a humidifier running to keep the room between 65 to 70%, so that helped a lot.

So, here's what I got from that Beast....24 small jars, that roughly hold 7 grams of the smaller & medium size buds. And 10 large jars, that roughly hold 15-20 grams of the larger buds. I really don't weigh the jars unless we're making butter, but that's normally what I get when I fill my mason jars.

Put some 58% Boveda packs in each jar to keep the buds happy. Now it's burping time, twice a day, for the next couple of weeks, then once a day until I'm happy with the cure.

Now, it's on to the next grow. Triple Chesse, Runtz Punch & Wedding Cake..one more time.

Here's a couple of pic's, with my favorite picture in the background. Have a wonderful evening, and "Stay toasty my ACD friends."

Thanks @Tokeing tom  The Zkittlez are from "Original Sensible Seeds" from herbiesheadshop.com. I've had a small bud, not cured, but still had a sweet taste on the exhale. Should get one of these 3 flavors, I hope... Grandaddy Purple x Grapefruit x Afghan Kush. Will see in a month. :D

@Ghost, every time I harvest from now on, I'll always remember that phase, and where I got it from. :-D   The wife and I love it.

With all the jars, I would say 121/2 to 13 ounces of buds.
I also got 3 ounces of leaf trim, that we just turned into butter. :)

I've vacuumed, dusted, and did a general cleaning in the room since jarring. I re-hung the lights, got the bucket's ready to go with new air lines, replaced the check valves, cleaned & tightened the screws on the air pump....
So, with that all done, I've started germinating some seeds again.
3, 5-gallon buckets again for my 4x4x7 tent.
1 Triple Cheese from Barney's seedbank. 1 Wedding Cake, also from Barney's and 1 Runtz Punch from Herbies Seeds. All grow about the same height & flowering time.
Will start a new journal soon.

Good morning/afternoon ACD'ers.

Jars have been curing for a week now. I burp them twice a day at the moment and leave the jars open for a
couple of minutes before closing them up. They have a very nice smell that permeates though out the room. :D
Bought a 4 pack of Mini Digital Thermometer Hygrometer Humidity Temperature Meters Gauges. Will put in random
jars to keep an eye on the humidity.
Here's a couple of pics with the jars getting a breather  ...along with a pic of our dogs. :D
Have a wonderful day, and as always..."Stay toasty my friends."

Good morning/afternoon ACD'ers, Just a quick update on my Zkittles. She's been curing for 2 weeks now and is doing just fine. I've been burping her twice a day, now I'll cut it back to once a day for the next couple of weeks, then we should be set. The Buds are sitting around 55% humidity. Ideally for us, 58% is good. So I've ordered some extra Boveda packs to put into the jars & raise it up.
I've got a few pics to show, as I cracked off a piece of bud and gave her a try. :D
So far, it hits smooth and taste very clean. Sweet taste on the inhale, with a hashy taste on the exhale.
Let's see what a couple more weeks & beyond of curing will bring into play. :D
Friday's about here. Enjoy your weekend, and remember, Stay Toasty my ACD friends.

Good morning/afternoon ACD'ers. It's been 3 weeks since I've starting curing the Zkittlez. So I decided to decarb some homegrown and make cannabutter. Took 2 jars that weighed 13 grams each, plus some leftover shake & small buds that weighed 7 grams, for a total of 33 grams.
As you can see in the pictures, I crumble it up into small bit size pieces. Oven set at 230 degrees (110 celsius) I decarb for 35 minutes, let cool, then move to crock pot. I put in 2 cups of semi hot water, mixed with 12oz of butter. (3/4 of cup)
I add the cannabis, mix well and set on low for 12 to 14 hours.
I strain the mixture into a plastic contain, then proceed to push out as much liquid as possible from the plant material using something solid and heavy, like this mallet. Then I transfer into a small glass bowl.
Here's the look of the final product. Out of the 12oz I put, I normally get back anywhere from 8 to 10 oz of cannabutter.
Let harden in the frig. overnight, remove butter on top, dump the remaining liquid and store until ready to use.
Will be making, Banana Walnut mini muffins tomorrow.
Everyone, have a Great weekend & as always, Stay Toasty my friends.
