I got the blue cheese a few days ago and it was priced at €12,50 for 1.8g (a bargain for the strength of weed) It didn't look much but after a couple of recommendations from this board I had to try it.......and am very grateful I did.

As for the shop, it was pretty busy when I went in but I wouldn't have minded staying for a drink or two. The weed dealer seemed to be pretty friendly and helpful which always leave me with good thoughts of a coffeeshop.

I felt the same way about the "blue cheese" when i got, didn't look like anything that special....but then i rolled a big ol pure joint and fired it up and got tore up.

We actually went to the Bluebird on our "coffeeshop tour" that was part of the whole package deal thing we got, and the tour guide was a really cool guy and he said he used to own a shop back in the day...anyways...he had never had the blue cheese so he asked to hit my pure joint, i said of course and he took a couple big hits..almost coughed up a lung and then got REALLY stoned...we left a few minutes later and he commented that he was wasted and then he didn't say a word as we walked to Bushdoctor. Talked with him the next day and he said he hadn't been that high in a long long time. I thought that was quite funny and a real testament to the Blue Chesse.

I went to Bluebird twice the day b4 i was leaving Ams (12th May 05), once in the day and once later that night, both times there wasn't that many people in there which was cool and the second time the guy was very helpful telling me about the types of skunk. I bought some Blue Cheese, Sweet Tooth and Sage. I believe the Blue Cheese was 12 euros for 2g for the guy who wanted to know! It's very odd and i agree the name doesn't sound very appetizing but its a weird smoke! Never really tasted or smelt anything like it before, if your stopping off at bluebird i recommend u try 1 of the types of skunk i listed :)
P.s The hench sofa is great got a seat both times!

The quality is good, and the variety of the menus is Amazing. So many choices! And the space is pretty cool, with good views of the street and a comfy couch.

My one problem is the music--they blast some really crusty stuff. I guess some people want to hear a whole Boston album blasted at 11 when they smoke. Not me. But other times they play stuff I like.

After never managing to get over to the Bluebird during my previous 14 visits I made a special effort this June to check out the "Blue Cheese".

Very glad indeed I did. The stickiest, stankiest buds I've ever grappled with....make sure you've cancelled all plans before you smoke this funk, you'll be going nowhere! PROPER stoney shit. Very strong.

Great value, too. I did also buy a bit of pricey nepalese polm which was OK, but in fairness in comparison to the Blue Cheese I might as well have been smoking oxo cube!

If you like your shit stoney, give this a go.

Went to the Bluebird 10/20, next stop after visiting Amnesia. Multilevel, bought a nice gram of G-13/Haze. Sat on the nice big comfy couch, had a coffee with the wife and chilled. Place got busy real fast, but guy behind the counter kept it moving nicely. Ask the lady if I could buy some coasters, and she turned me on to 5 or so, super nice, I had to give her a euro.

It does look like I must be the only one not enjoying the Blue Bird.
Haven't been there for many years as I went 2 or 3 times and didn't think much of what I got, and it was far too crowded.

I will have to go there sometime, I start to want to try that bluecheese.

Wasn't impressed with what they had to offer.

Nice place to sit and watch the world go by though.

Visited Bluebird in December a bought a gram of G13xHaze, at the end of the day it was the only weed that turned to dust in my pocket so poorly dried/cured I suspect.

The place was packed when I went in so I rolled a spliff, smoked half and left.

When i went the blue cheese was 12 euros for 1.8 grams. Its not the same as homegrown fantasy because its crossed with blueberry. Unless you meant the cheese is the same which it could have been and then crossed with blues.

i like this shop as well.nice menus, even though the samples in the book have been squashed to shit.i recommend asking what buds are nice, otherwise you might get some unexpected small buds, like i did with the G-13 haze.but the lavender was delightful.
