surely under european law false advertisment is illegal, does the nederlands have a weights & measures department which we can start reporting these cs's too?

Good question PW but I suppose there is no real way to prove it unless a under cover weights check or something ? Lol I'm sure it's their scales that are off as I was keeping my eyes open !

yea dont have to be undercover, just like when weight & measures turn up at petrol stations & test the pumps, something like that but testing the scales, if it was a grocer selling fruit at dodgy weights theyd get fined, why not cs's, they shouldnt be allowed to sell something that aint whats advertised, ive also defended gh in the past but i aint gonna give em another penny now youve proved it, thanks. (&il advise any1 who asks, the same)

Cisco - Thanks for highlighting this underweight issue :evil: (although not exclusive to Greenhouse)

A classic case of a tourist rip-off and they don’t give a monkeys about it, with the clout and the resources they have a few complaints here and there won’t matter.
I would personally save my time and breath and just stay clear with other ACDers taking note and doing likewise, unless your enjoyment of the place outweighs (no pun there!) getting shorted.
They are not the only ones; Hunters are the same to name but one, USB’s recent massive underweight carry-on as a documented example.
Any mistakes in weighing are almost always in favour of the CS, classic tricks of bouncing bud on the scales flicks the reading up on impact and then they grab it quick – see how many do that.

Scales can be altered very easily to over read and with very light amounts involved 1g ends up actually 0.82g as Cisco’s example.
In money terms €18 /gram x 0.82 = €14.76 net so you lose and the shop or bud tender gains €3.24 per gram of GH Ice it sells. How many grams per day x €3.24 ??? And all the other gear too?

Many, many people visit and are clueless to this – just buy and smoke and are happy. To the naked eye it’s very hard to tell because all the varieties of bud and hash are of different density and texture.
Short of measuring every purchase yourself immediately on your own scales you are on a bit of a loser as a discussion/argument with the staff usually ends up in you getting asked to leave or stood over by a minder with no positive result.

Thankfully there are plenty of other CS’s to choose from – what’s the phrase “Caveat emptor” – Let the buyer beware – ever so true.

Tourist = opportunity to rip-off
Stoned = ditto
Drunk = ditto

I don’t go there and happily there are many other places to visit for my enjoyment. :D

Didn't even go here on my last trip in March. Walked right by it quite a few times, actually.

I know that so many people hate this place, for various reasons, but my last visit in march I was surprised by their green crack, it was really tasty, nice buds and a good smoke. The lemon was also as good as always. I never hang out here, just buy and fly, but have still had some nice pieces from here

I thought this coffeshop wasn't so good, although the budtender was very nice and friendly, the women on the bar were extremely moody, which killed the mood. I had a gram of Green Crack, which left me very stoned after one joint, and fucked after I vaped a bag with their volcano. I wont return for a while.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them

Nice location however never has been one of my favs.

High prices and under weight. If you haven't been it's a nice place to chill for a bit, defiantly not a must stop shop.

Don't like to leave negative reviews for coffeeshops, especially for what they have to go through just to stay open, but greenhouse has dissapointed me more than once now. The staff in the centrum are just so rude it's unbelievable. Was there last week, the bud tender would'nt even let me look at the bud, there was mostly only shake left in everything I saw. Every time I said I wanted to see something he starts bagging me up a gram of it. (only asked to see one or two varietes) Then when I said no, just see/smell, he said he didn't understand. He did but he was just being really aggressive.(moody italianish geezer) Bar staff arn't much better, drinks are terrible, coffee tasted like dishwater. Also ordered a hot chocolate with no cream, came 3/4 full of cream. They bark at you if you sit down somewhere without a drink. Yes, the super lemon, or rif cream are nice on a good day, but it's roulette and there are safer, friendlier options imo. The other greenhouse outside centrum is a bit better but music was awful last time I was there.

I am aware they have a good rep and win cannabis cups, I've also seen a documentary (nederweed) with the owner of greenhouse and he seems like a decent chap, but they seriously need to sort out their service/ staff.

Bought amnesia, green crack, super lemon haze, super silver haze from here last Monday. Amnesia 6/10, ssh 7/10, lemon 8/10, green crack 4/10

Strains were not as good as usual, and was really let down with the green crack. My last visit this stuff was lovely, but was really bad this time.

Enjoyed chilling out and a few hot chocs here though for a few hours.

It is worth knowing that a 1 euro coin weighs 7.50g, 2 euro coin 8.50g.
So not difficult to check if a shop's scales are off (just ask them to weigh
some of your change).
