Basjoes is shite in my opinion.
twice now i have gone in there and the service was complete shite and I mentioned i was a n acd member and had a t&t in there that evening.
just not that helpful towards me.

Re: Basjoe
gotta to agree with you dan, I've always liked basjoes but went in twice this trip and he was a miserable cunt both times, saw him sell some bloke a bag of basjoe special that was worse than shake for 13e.DanFromUk wrote:Basjoes is shite in my opinion.

On the date of the t&t he apparently only had two weeds in, the expensive ones, got some g13 for 15e (15e for a g for fucks sake), an alright smoke but not knockout preferred the amnesia haze from katsu and og13 from voyagers.
And 2.50e for a drink is taking the piss.
Plenty of places with better weed and staff who can be arsed.

The next time you're in Basjoe, think of James like a mirror into your soul when you place your order. He gives as he receives... as for the lad... never met him.

Re: Basjoe
I disagree. I had the proper attitude, was friendly and in a good mood. I'm all about being polite, and saying please and thank you and making a good impression when I travel. I never want anyone to think of me as the "ugly American". I was excited to be in Basjoe after reading so many great things here. James made me feel like I was a bother, continuing to clean and do his thing behind the counter, leaving me standing there feeling awkward after I made eye contact and smiled at him and asked for a menu. When he finally got around to me to see what I wanted, he wasn't friendly at all. That, combined with the plain shop made it not stand out in a positive way for me at all. Had the Bas Special, which wasn't very.TwoCanucks wrote:The next time you're in Basjoe, think of James like a mirror into your soul when you place your order. What you're saying is that if you don't like Basjoe, it's got to be your fault. Not fair.

Re: Basjoe
Sorry you have had bad experiences... hopefully there's a chance in the future for it to change your mind... if not, you'll find a shop that agrees with you... that's all anyone can hope for.ZBeebs wrote:What you're saying is that if you don't like Basjoe, it's got to be your fault. Re: Basjoe
They have lost my custom for ever.
Feeling like your not wanted in here is more than enough to make you not want to go back.
Didn't we (acd) award this coffee shop a cup?
Can some please explain why? It wasn't for best coffee shop was it? Or for best strain?

and if he's a mirror he's a fucked up carnival one. he's not some fucking karma god who senses yr mood and gives bad service if he believes you deserve it, he's a bloke who acts nice to some and like a cunt to others

Re: Basjoe
I've had the same experience with dan zbeebs and spireax and I also was friendly and not at all impolite. I first thought it was a bad day but after it happened for a second time I knew for myself. Now it seems more people are having the same. But as zbeebs also wrote here all that people say is that whoever the customer was must have deserved it. And the fact that people try to romantically claim that James is a freaking mirror into your soul or some kind of Nemesis is pathetic. You are entitled to your opinion of Basjoes just as much as the people who have had bad experiences there.
