i understand why people that ppv the fight are upset but thats boxing,

I reckon the pacman can take him though floyd is a fantastic fighter, that would be actually worth the ppv price. Ortiz deserved it the dirty fucker the way he threw his head in. He already apologized and floyd saw his chance.

mayweather has a history of relying on breaking or in cases like this seriously bending the rules. in the 4th round imo mayweather hadn't quite figured out or had the stronger ortiz timed yet. he'd won the previous 3 rounds but ortiz had him against the ropes a few times and had a few really good combos in that had mayweather shook. i think he knew if he didn't end this fast things could get hairy in the later rounds and he couldn't rely on winning by decision like usual. hes tried this before with mosely and arturo gatti. maybe i just am big on sportsmanship but i think this was horrible. and his rant with merchant after..pathetic. as iv been saying dude seriously looked like he was about to cry like a kid throwing a tantrum. again why so defensive after if you arent ashamed of something.? ref handled it wrong too. first of he should have said box. weather you think its trivial or not its important. your supposed to protect yourself at all times when the fight has started. the ref should have at the least counted it as a knockdown, gave ortiz a short time to recover and resume the fight. needles to say at the VERY least an incredibly cheap way to end a fight. one of the shittiest things iv seen in my years of watching professional boxing. mayweather says hes the best ever, etc etc...he shouldn't have to rely on a stunt like that. if he ever fights pacman i expect to see more of the same if pacman starts getting the best of him. just my 2 cents.


edit: looks like amir kahn is putting his 2 cents in calling mayweather chicken. as much as i dont like mayweather now..money would pulverize kahn. kids to young. dont think he could beat mayweather at his best anyway.
