went in over the weekend and as usual still one of the better coffeeshops of amsterdam,i love visiting bluebird you always know you'll get quality products and they make a fine coffee to wash down a nice joint with, bought blue cheese 12.50e 1.2g as usual never fails, also got tibizla xxx ice hash 12.50 0.5g which i have become a bit partial to when in the dam it has lovely taste unlike some other ice hashes which taste bad and are double the price and a nice deep stoned effect to it a worthy buy and certainly alot cheaper than most ice hashes but quality wise its as good as it gets, tastes very much like a very clean high grade morrocan, the blue cheese well always buy this and to be honest is probably the best blue cheese in the dam, tastes stunning the blue really does come through on the exhale its a very morish bud and a total pleasure to smoke,it has a lovely chillin stoned effect not to ampy just settled and floaty, bluebirds blue cheese will always be up there for my must buys when in the dam, bluebird as a coffeeshop has everything, good service good value and a really nice relaxed atmosphere to chill out in could spend all day in here and the bt who looks like the bus driver of bart simpson is a cool guy he wont sell you rubbish and even refuses and has told me not to waste money after buying xxx now go on tell me how many bt in the dam would do that and look after you in that manner i bet not one now that it is customer service for you,for that bluebird gets my up most respect and repeat custom

Got myself a bag of this, vaped half of it, delicious.

Smoked the other half in a joint, one of the best smokes I've had- lovely taste and a real unique high.

Never been here before, but as the pal was looking to smoke some hash on this short trip and we'd been given expert directions from HB at "Voyagers", so it would have been rude not to....
Nice shop, with 2 nice girls with brightly dyed hair and enough (visible) metal piercings to hold up the queue at the airport metal detector until the flight had left....
The budmistress was very happy and full of information about her wares and whilst she was getting my 1g of "Tabizla XXX" 12.50 euros for 0.5g, having first told me where it was from and how to pronounce this properly, i spoke to a fellow toker who recommended the "O.G. Kush" as one of his outstanding smokes of his campaign, so i replies, "i'm having a 'g' of that as well then", at which the budmistress appears again, in the blink of an eye, with both my selections like the shopkeeper from "Mr Ben". And my, oh my, what an adventure you can have when you put the 2 of them together.(The Tabizla XXX and the O.G. Kush, that is!!!)
The pal decided on some ice hash at 25 euros for 0.8g (he thinks...) and "Nepal Polm" at an undisclosed price, at this time of going to press.....
This was all smoked in the hired flat, which we'd told the landlady we'd be at in 20 minutes to pick up the keys, .....having told her the exact same thing 30 minutes earlier when we'd just left the train station to go to voyagers.
So, although i'd been weed free for a few months, had battle marched around Amsterdam like two true 'sons of the desert' for an hour, carrying what felt like a counch whilst looking for weed and a bong, had not had any sleep to dream of for about 24 hours and had smoked some "Kosher Kush" as my virgin smoke already, ...... I was gobsmacked what this "O.G. Kush" did to me, even without putting the "Tabizla XXX" through it.
Smoke of the trip and there was some very good stuff getting smoked before the trip was all to quickly over. Very deeply, stoned and trippy. So wish this had been my first smoke after months off.
The pal's ice hash was wonderful, strong and tasty, with a real good stone about it. The "Nepal Pollen" was likewise excellent.....
What a wonderful shop full of delights and funny coloured hair...... well, well worth a visit for the hair alone.....

I liked the shop simply because it has nice seating outside and i was able to watch the world go by.

On a downside i purchased the OG Kush on my last day and wasn't happy. The deal seemed small and the weed tasted like chemicals. The buzz wasn't nice either, just like some 'bad' weed you would buy in London. I also didn't like the way the bud tender vanished and then came back with a pre-weighed bag, open to abuse IMO.

Going back again 12th Dec and will go here again, but just for the coffee, which IS good. Also the upstairs is nicely laid out, apart from the bud bar.
Insert something profound here...Errr, life's like my dealer. Never know what you're gonna get!

Bluebird is not on my "must visit" list, but for some reason I always end up in their once per trip and never make a bad buy... at least none that I can remember... and everytime the service has been top shelf.
