Re: Utopia
We stopped in here the last day of our trip twice. It was right near the office of the place we were stashing our bags for the day. It was early and the office wasn't open when we got there but Utopia was. I was intending to check it out regardless it just happened in a different order.
We grabbed the window seat and I went up to the counter to check the buds out. I was served by the female budtender. I had a look at the citronella and the Edelweiss. I had a joint already rolled with some sativas in it so I thought I would go indica to broaden the spectrum and put that nice warm indica fuzz on for my trip to the Anne Frank huis later that morning. We grabbed a couple of coffees and I smoked the sativa mix I prepared earlier.
After that I skinned up the whole gram of Edelweiss. What a lovely bud it was. It smelt fantastic. A really nice deep indica aroma and totally caked in trichromes. It was a very nice smoke and tasted great all the way through. It totally smashed through the sativa high I was on and lasted a good while too. I had a nice buzz on.
We returned later that day before we went to pick up our bags and head to the airport. I wanted a bit of a boost for the trip and had a few bits of Kosher Kush Sieve to put in a joint to give it a kick. I had a look at the Super Lemon Haze and it smelt and looked amazing. I wanted the whole tub. I got a gram of that and a couple of drinks and the window spot again.
The SLH was super sticky and really smelt like a lemon tree. It was sparkling in trichromes too. A lovely example of the strain. I rolled 2 half g joints of this, one purely SLH and the other with a lashing of Kosher Sieve. The smoke did was excellent too. Really pungent citrus flavour that lingered on the palate and got more intense the more you smoked. I could have smoked that all day long.
All up it is a great shop and nicely redecorated. The staff are very friendly and take pride in their product and appreciate feedback. I recommend checking it out. They also open at 8.30am which is very handy for the early morning burners.

Re: Utopia
If you could do a brief hotel report on the place it would be really helpful for quite a lot of folks. Coffeeshop sounds great but not heard anything new about the hotel and whether it has also changed hands.corsicanbro wrote:I am staying at Utopia next week. How much did you produce?

Will do. I know you get what you pay for, so I'm not expecting too much. No bugs would be cool

Re: Utopia
Utopia Coffeeshop and Hotel were great. I'll post more on the Hotel in the Hotel section, but it is the perfect location and the people are great and it was super clean.
The Coffee Shop also rocks. Ingy is the manager and has a great staff of Nel, Amanda, and Jess. The Bubba Kush was probably one of the smelliest and tastiest weeds of my trip. The Citronella also provided a good Sativa buzz for my first smoke upon arrival. The Grand Cru also did not disappoint. Gapie and I smoke 1/2 gram before I left for the airport and it provided a nice stone for the trip. There is also a new Utopia Secret which is only 9e/g and a good deal. One other good point here is that you can mix and match 5 grams and still receive a discount.
Anyway, I can't recommend Utopia enough and tell them I said Hi.

Re: Utopia
Cheers for your kind words bro, it was nice to have you with us and I hope to see you again before too long.
I must say it was great to witness you and gapie having a momentous pre-departure wake and bake, I'm not surprised that you were nicely stoned for your trip!
Regarding the 5g deals, while it's normally reserved for sales on one type, if you're nice people, nice things happen!
