Anyone ever been to Boom Chicago or Comedy Cafe Amsterdam?
Just wondered if they were worth going to or if there's anywhere else better for stand-up (English speaking)

Been once and it sucked. Didn't even stay the whole show. Was a few years ago (3) so there might be better stand ups by now.

i.e. ...'What was the Queen thinking when she came up with Queensday? Let's all get stoned and drunk for a day'... :evil: Making that joke in late August is great timing by the way.

Yeah it is a childish level of humor. I have been there twice (roped in by others wanting to go)
I kept wishing I was back out on the street, the entire time...
