55 pages of which 99% is pure speculation.
Keep guessing guys!
It's all been said before, unless there is any breaking news to share, why don't we just wait and see what the outcome is.

Thought this topic was a debate than anyone second guessing what they think to be the case and governments next move on the issue?Old Timer wrote:55 pages of which 99% is pure speculation.

I thought the same, we speculate in any possible direction that let us hope weed pass will never come.Dave J wrote:Thought this topic was a debate than anyone second guessing what they think to be the case and governments next move on the issue?Old Timer wrote:55 pages of which 99% is pure speculation.

Re: So the Weed pass thing? and your thoughts?
Sure, there's a lot of speculation, but as someone said maybe a couple of dozen pages (or even posted topics) ago, this could be the most important issue facing our common culture. I think an ongoing discussion is certainly worth having... But I'm the first to say I will be overjoyed should the day come that this topic falls off the bottom of the screen because it's no longer relevant! Let's hope that day is soon! And then the next time the "Weed Pass" is mentioned it's because a savvy shop owner names a strain after the misguided and failed attempt to close the shops. (How much fun would it be to roll up some "weed pass" and burn it down?) But until then, I'm all ears, checking to see if there are any developments...

So can anyone tell me what is the situation like in Limburg? Is the weed pass in place? A more interesting question is, what is the situation like in Maastricht? I understand that in Maastricht they were checking passports before they let you in (only the Dutch, Germans and Belgians were/are allowed to enter), so how did this change? Because for me, as a future foreign resident in Maastricht, this weed pass could actually be a good news, since I could probably get one easily, unlike Dutch passport.

So what I'm wondering is are the coffeeshops actually adhering to the new law? Surely they wouldn't have police checking the doors, and if the police did actually enter, would they really bother checking everyone there???

Re: So the Weed pass thing? and your thoughts?
It seem to me that more conservative areas now have the choice to finish the coffeeshop trade on their own back door by bringing in Wietpass and enforcing it strictly. If it is the will of the people, especially the local people then good luck to them.puffthemagicdragon wrote:Being reported that Dordrecht and Hoofdorp bringing in Wietpass on 1st July 2012, ie. next week.
They will need it.

I wonder how many residents who don't go into coffeeshops might apply for a Wietpas and lend it out to tourists for a few Euros.
