Just finished reading a few articles ref. the amount of empty VIP seating during certain "major" events.
Seems quite a few peeps are pissed that these events are listed as sold out yet hundreds of seats remain empty.
I suppose the writers of these stories didn't realize that this is how the privileged/entitled behave.
The initial BS from various mouthpieces state that these VIP seats are for family of the Olympians.
Reading further into their BS, seems family also includes organizers, sponsors, etc... Some family plan eh? Can I join?

Yeah its crazy, but Olympic family means realy sponsors, wealthy and the odd family member if your lucky, tbh a bit dodgy, looks like they are filling it now though.

Sits are empty cause the companies paying for the olympic gave out so much tickets to clients living outside the country (and few local also but mostly outsiders) and these ppl aint going or cuming to the olympics...and those ticket DO go on resell 30minutes b4 the events ...

got a question how much is it to get in the olympic village? < also they was talking about it bein empty yesterday!
other question why is the flame no in view to take picture whit? didnt they see that it was a problem at vancouver ?

Adlington did well to get her Bronze , the female Chinese pairing pretty much took the piss in the 3m springboard diving , very very good . TGB footie looking good , good header by Giggs but tbh UAE are pretty shite .Got to watch the space we are giving them on the break at times though
Watched a fair bit of the Canoeing & Kayaking today , mental how they control those things


Slightly off-topic , quite impressed with the extra olympic channels we have right now , fucking spoilt for choice
they even seem to have sped up the "Red Button" which tbh rarely worked faster than a snail on smack upto friday , fair play virgin/BBC lets keep it that way eh

We enjoyed the tennis today, although with the rain we were fortunate to have centre court tickets and be in the dry with some sport happening in front of us. So we got to see Murray beating the swiss guy with polish name and Maria Sharapova beating the Isreal woman with a polish name. and some other games played by people whos names for the moment escape me.

We had a good day, but a bit like disneyland, where everything cost an arm and a leg minimum.

I think the footie result was nothing to get excited about, but early days we will see.
