When staying in a holiday rental with others, do not get cute and overthink double-locking the door from the outside, when it's idiot-proofed (keyhole blocked) from the inside, allowing someone to be locked in the flat. :P

Did something very similar to that at FEBO, only to embarrass myself shortly thereafter in front of my Dutch hosts as I launched vomit projectiles off their 4th floor balcony at 2AM. I think everyone in their apartment complex heard it.

Love this thread! So funny!! Reading through it thinking; yep, done that, also fine that! So funny! Keep them coming :-) mine are:

Do not buy a grinder when you get there if your gonna smoke a lot ; most places give you a free grinder if you purchase 5g.

Do not go to "lost in Amsterdam" til 4 in the morning getting stoned and then proceed to miss your 8am flight! Oops..

Do not feel you have to buy after viewing a menu.

Please DO go to Albert hejin stores! Stock up on drinks for your room, much cheaper..

DO NOT miss the train stop at the CS on your way to AMSTERDAM so you dont end up in UTRECHT wondering all the way there that the ride is taking too long thinking WTF??

Time was my arrival ritual was to go to HGF and buy 1g of their cheese. This was back when their cheese was good. I'd put the 1g in a joint then... 'we have lift off....' Especially seeing as I didn't smoke regularly back then.
How much did you produce?
