Going to see a film in Amsterdam?

Post by benstraat »

Is there a commercial cinema that shows films in English in Amsterdam?

We have got a few hours to kill and thought it could be an idea to get high then go and see a movie.

Any info anyone?

The Pathe shows films in English but there may be subtitles as well. http://www.pathe.nl/english/agenda/amsterdam

I go to a movie every trip, I usually go to the Tuschinsky theatre as others have mentioned. It is a really cool gothic building and then the inside is in a very asian style, very cool.

YES! If the movie was made in English (most are) then in this theatre and most others in Amsterdam the movies are played in english although some do have dutch subtitles.

Unlike Germany the Dutch don't dub English speaking films very often.

Been to the Tuchinsky and the bigger more modern one around the corner. They both do films in English. The Tuchinsky is a lovely place to go watch a movie and coffeeshop The Saint is down the alley right opposite for a quick toke pre and post movie.
How much did you produce?
