Got two specials here yesterday:
Grinspoon- 20eu/1.3gr
Mango Haze- 20eu/1.6gr

Had to try the MH first, as I have Neville's Haze x Mango (Mr. Nice) seeds back home. Also tried with a fresh, first high of the day head. And using their verdamper.

Groovy happy social high, that a couple of times started to feel like it was going to get a little racy, but never went there. There's a bit of warm fog, but it blends in with the happy social part nicely. When I had difficulty getting wifi access, there was enough social energy in it to push me to get the problem solved, not pull the (mental) hoody over my head and fluff it off like some strains do.

Then, the Grinspoon cut through a bit- it felt clearer and more energetic, but I didn't try it with a clean enough head to judge it on its own. Also did Grinspoon this morning after some 100% Sativa (Paradox), and it brought some euphoria to the 100's introspective high. So a clean report'll come later, but I think it's safe to say that it's pretty good.

btw, my visit here has been the best CS experience so far this trip. Speak a little Dutch here, even if it's "slechts iPhone app Nederlands", and the local vibe warmly opens up to you.

$133.00 a gram at current exchange rates. $20 to $50 in Denver atm.

I wonder if they offer a scoop of Vaseline with that? I am fan of Katsu but damn.

They have no oil rigs or torches there to consume it with if you did buy it.

The Mango Haze is indeed great. I somehow missed the part about the 20e special. So I only got a 10e bag. I can also strongly recommend Casey Jones. It's a bit heavier than the MH but still leaves you active enough to do long walks. I actually prefered CJ over the MH because its effect seemed to fade away more slowly. Still I wouldn't mind to smoke the Mango all day... :)

A great shop to buy and to hang out as well. The young female budtender was often speaking in funny cartoon voices - good times.

The Amnesia Haze is fantastic at the moment. Deep purple hues, perfect cure. Very much recommended for the price (9 p/g).

I've been getting the NLxSilverPearl for more than twelve years here. 2,5 grams for 20. It's still consistently awesome stuff (for a knock-out indica).

Never had disappointingly cured/flushed product here in more than twelve years. That kind of reliability counts too, for me.

PS. I also have to mention that I find it a real pleasure to visit this CS, more so than most others.

The surrounding area, the front of the shop, and then the interior + the folks, the way the staff works even when it's busy, it's all very pleasant
(see? i didn't even mention their menu)

I don't really do "favorites", but, errr, yeah, best shop in town, this.

Was in there for the NL/SP and some Mango Haze. The Mango is a good amnesia with a slight mango aftertaste. Good smoke. The NL/SP is smooth stuff as ever. Fun to sit outside with a spliff and a cuppa and watch the world walking by on a sunny day. Quite a sight.

Don't know if they currently have Black Widow, which was very good 3 years ago, but the best smoke I had at Katsu was the SoGouda - an outstanding indica which is worth looking for, wherever you might find it.
