Grasshopper (Eindhoven)
ACD Page: Grasshopper Eindhoven
Until now, we went to Eindhoven 2 times (will be much more in the future year). Everytime we parked in the residential quarter near the Grasshopper, since it`s really only 1km from the centre and you can park for free.
The furniture is great, leather seats and although it`s a small shop, you don`t feel crowded when you`re inside.
We only bought the Orange Bud for 5€/gr., which was a real good buy, good high, long lasting effect. They had some other sorts for 5€, but I dont remember the rest of the menu. Good shop, friendly staff.

Look at their menu: http://www.black-arts.org/~reatta/Menus ... 032007.jpg it hasnt changed that much since the photo was taken. The weed there is good and cheap, but for the super duper weed you better go to "The Wall" when in Eindhoven. The hash from Grasshopper seemed very nice when a friend of us bought it last month.

As I already stated elsewhere: one of the best coffeeshops in Eindhoven.
Small but clean and tidy. Decent staff and good chocomel with whipped cream
.
Especially their Amnesia Haze and their Caramel(hash) are nice.
I always go there when I'm in town.
I agree currently it's very crowded because the other good coffeeshops(Pink Panther&New Wave)were shut down for one year respectively six months.
Beside "The Wall"-Coffeeshop it's the place to go at the moment.

Munch Bunch Summary
The Grasshopper received the lowest rank that we gave. We walked into this coffeeshop, and were not greeted when we reached the bar. The lady behind the bar informed us we where not allowed to purchase any drinks as she was having a break. We then walked over to the corner where a man was hidden in a cabinet selling drugs. We asked him for a menu to which he informed us to press a button on the wall. To our surprise a plush menu appeared and we viewed the limited selection of drugs available, which were all very expensive. The man then made us wait for five minutes before we could make our purchase.
Customer service was clearly a myth to this company, who you would of thought would do better considering they have multiple coffeeshops and a reputation good place to visit in Amsterdam.
We then took our over priced substances outside into the street, as there were no seats where we were greeted by a brisk cold wind. There was an outdoor conservatory area which would of been a lot warmer alas there was many people taking this area. There were a few people in the street area, but quite quiet for the time of day. After about 10 minutes we were finally asked if we would like to purchase drinks.
We then rolled our products to find that the smell was quite faint, we started smoking the drugs which were nothing special and definitely not worth the amount we paid for them. When we went back into the shop to find that there were no signs to the toilets or any visible area that could be regarded as possible toilets. We would of asked the staff but due to the lack of interest we decided to rank them zero. A sign is not hard to provide, and even with charging the rates they did you would expect this to be standard. Its only good saving grace was the variety of seats that it provided. The music although distant outside was moderately mixed and helped provide some atmosphere. If it was not for the nice street that we were sitting on we would of been tempted to leave this establishment.
The smallest one in the chain of three we think.

Hold on does he imply that the grasshopper in adam is a good place to go?Maybe he meant drugs when he said drugs. Is this review current?Because I have read recent reviews that say this place is good recently in trip reports
Are these reviews coming from Australia?I would like to know the visit date please.
Edit: Having followed the links in mr oranjes other posts to his webpages I can definetely confirm that his review of the grasshopper eindhoven is in fact a review of one of the Amsterdam group. Not the seperate entity that is in Eindhoven
Phew almost had me going there I had it down as first stop on trip

My apologies again I think it is the one in Eindhoven, and as for the terminology I use the term broadly as in the drugs that they serve. We yet to visit the main Grasshopper.
