Whats your favourite?
Hello everyone, I head out to Amsterdam in about 3-4 weeks and I was wondering what are the favourite strains of weed and types of hash of the good members of the ACD. There are too many types to try over 4 days so I would like to have a shortlist of the types I want to try, I dont care how expensive it is as I am going to try them as I have the chance (Northern Ireland is absolutely crap when it comes to Cannabis, we very rarely get quality stuff about here
) all answers are welcome.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I will do it like "Name of the strain - Coffeeshop - prize/effect/taste":
Diesel - De Dampkring - 8,€/gr., very fruity , tastes like citrus, makes you very active, you wont be able to sleep so soon
Orange Haze - Mellow Yellow - 11€/gr., very fruity, tastes really like oranges, the effect is the same as with the Diesel, very active, worth the 11€
Super Silver Haze - De Damprking - 10.5€/gr., very smooth in taste and it gives you a clear high
Mango - Blues Brothers - 8,2€/gr.(or something, don`t remember it exactly but it was around 8-9€), fruity/spicy taste, cant say anything about the effect as we already had smoked too much before that one
Laughing Buddah - Willie Wortel (in Haarlem) - 12€/gr., really spicy
That were our favourite during our trip. If you go to the Mellow Yellow and you have enough money left, buy the "Pot of Gold" and the Trainwreck, they smelled delicious when the dealer showed it to us, but we didnt had enough money left as it was our last day

about the smokersguide....I dont like it that much, since some things they write in it are out-of-date or basicaly wrong, but the map they have included is very nice for searching....if we had used it to find the Mellow Yellow we wouldnt have to run around the block next to the Mellow Yellow for half an hour

yeah I suppose thats true about planning to go to shops, the first time we went, we where with 2 other couples and they said they knew the good coffeeshops and where did they take us first, the grasshopper. this time the GF and I are going by ourselves and for longer, so we want to visit the good ones that don't cater more for the tourist, I like my smoke the stronger, the better lol. I have already heard the super silver haze and the blueberry are a really good smoke
and the laughing buddah is also top notch, thanks for your replies fella's. Does anyone else have any far and away favourite strains, also is bushdoctors jellyhash worth it I will be trying to get some of this.
Thanks
Thanks

On my recent trip, best buds were Northern Light Special from Katsu (E20/1.5g) and G13 Haze from barneys (E16/1g).
Nepal cream and kashmir ice from bluebird were good.
Best ice-o-lator was between barney rubble (E44/1g) and waterworks from dampkring (E40/1g). Crystal Clear isolator from katsu was also good, doesn't hit as hard as barney rubble and waterworks, but still strong and only E10 for 1.4g.

Hi,
I lived nr Amsterdam for a while so sampled quite a lot of the weed over there, and in my whole time while over there, my all out favourite weed was 'Alegria'. It was available at the Dampkring but apparently now it's not always on the menu, as they didn't have any last time I visited. They definitely still produce it though as the seeds are still available from Kiwi (Dampkring). It is an unbelievable weed with a very clear euphoric high of epic proportions. My favourite weed ever, and beats your everyday Northern Lights/Blueberry etc that you can find most places. This one's certainly a speciality, I can't recommend it enough.
Hash wise, my friends over there swore by the 'Moonshine #1', also available from the Dampkring. It is a very high quality hash, but I'm a weed man myself
Hope this is some help. And let me know how you liked the Alegria if you managed to get some!
