This was the closest coffeeshop to our hotel last weekend , so became a base of sorts. Tried the Somango, decent smoke but not worth the price. Temple Ball, an OK black hash. Hunter's Lemon Haze, good lemony flavour, not a patch on Voyagers SLBH. Pineapple Express, not bad, heavy Pineapple flavour but a worse batch than usual.

Pretty sure that's true, there's a really nice vibe in here now, even though the weed seemed pretty average to me.

Not a favourite to chill in but the menu is always good. Had the jedi kush it was real nice. Simular taste to og kush but looked a brighter shade of green.

i'm guessing this is the bigger hunters, the one on the corner? as far as i knew this place closed down toward the end of last year. was that bollocks or have there been developments that i'm unaware of?
my actual question though is this, is the smaller hunters still open, the one that used to be called the coin?
it's such a lovely little shop first thing in the morning and it would please me no end to still be able to use it for a morning smoke.

The Hunter's on the corner is the one that's still open. The Coin, which was next door to Hunter's bar, is closed.

Hunters just took over Bro's coffeeshop up in the northern part of Amsterdam. It was a nice locals shop, basic menu with ww, jack, amnesia and some polm. Quality was decent, occasionally good, sometimes bad. Now they have a slimmed down Hunters menu, 7-8 flower strains and 3 different hashes.

Got some Hunters Lemon Haze and OG Kush. The lemon barely smelled of lemon and tasted bad, strength was ok'ish, but an absolute rip-off at 13/g.
The OG was terribly dry and overcured. Got some more the next day when they had a new batch but other then better texture, it still lacked in smell, taste and effects. Also a rip-off.

Gonna give this shop 1 last try tomorrow. Really hoping the G13 Amnesia isn't as bad as the rest. I don't wanna lose this shop. It's always been a nice place to chill when I couldn't be bothered to go to the city center.

Funny enough the G13 Amnesia is superb. Big sticky resinous buds, well dried but sticks to everything. Proper smell and taste. Wonderfully grown. And at €54 per 5g the price isn't terrible either.

Luckily for me this new Hunters shop isn't a complete disaster yet.

G13 Amnesia is one of the few strains you could rarely go wrong with at hunter's

Definitely agree with that one. Always grab some of this at some point. It's still 12 Euro a gram too if i'm not mistaken. Can anyone confirm?
