yeah the pioneer bloc hash was really nice for the money 8) looked like a more expensive hash...

Agreed!... I felt exactly the same. Looked so oily and sticky but it is not really powerfull

On their latest menu pic I saw a hash called "Boere Ballen" (15€/g). Anybody tried it yet? Is it a maroccan hash or a black hash like "Temple Balls"?

Sorry bro I think you got me wrong I didn't indulge. Background is I like to start with a not so strong one and move on from there to stronger strains respectively hashish. So I declined the offer of Malika but it indeed looked good(even though not so strong as you said, thanks) ! Again: Tweede Kamer's bloc hashish was indeed better than the one from Boerejonges, stronger smell and taste(also relatively sticky but I don't care too much about that factor as the proof is in the pudding)!

Regarding this Boere Ball thing I could imagine they refer to moroccan eggs(5g/10g). I recently watched that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uw7SZT6Iluo and as you see they call it 'ball' as well. Funny coincidence as this hashish shown there looks very, very similar to one moroccan(egg,10g)I could score on the local black market a good while ago - for nearly half the price, that's the spirit  (even that was a bit too expensive as I got them cheaper before and even though I frequent coffeeshops this is a prime example for how hard you get ripped off there  )! Different harvest of course but very, very similar and real fresh(really oily and so on, also that type of piece where you could see all the bling bling if you know what I mean  ), very nice smoke! I saw lots of those egg shape moroccan in the past in coffeeshops, e.g. Reserva X at Anyday or lots of stuff at Bushdocter. Temporarily of course as real quality knows no shape and not so handy I assume in a coffeeshop context but if you got the chance to score the real deal(beware there are rock hard cheap imitations) of those eggs it is at least good but often very good quality :D !

Now I got it :D . I usually start with some light sativa strains... later on the day I move on from the sativas to stronger stuff (like "highgrade" hash or weed) . When I smoked the Malika I smoked many strong hashes and weed strains before... after smoking all that good stuff the Malika was not really powerfull for me... so I only can talk about the effect compared to the other stuff I smoked before ... It was maybe not so strong but still good.
When I would have smoked it as the first smoke of the day it would be completely different for sure. But thats often a problem for me when I am in Amsterdam... I smoke so much good stuff on a day when I am there that I don´t feel the real effects of a weed or hash. When I am at home and smoke that stuff I got much higher because I don´t smoke that much at home and only after work (mostly at the evening).

Meanwhile the Pioneer Bloc hash is a personal favorite of mine... I like the taste and it´s so smooth to smoke... the last two batches were not so good as before but still same taste and smooth 8) but I think that is a personal preference

I saw maroccan egg hash sometimes in coffeeshops in the past but never on the local black market :( (hash is very poor where I live). I also saw one time hash like u said (egg hash wich was very hard and black coloured) it was a really poor smoke (from a coffeeshop in Maastricht)...
I think I will check out the "Boere Balls" next time... even if there are too expensive maybe it´s very good quality

I agree with most what you wrote, nice approach :) ! Bottom line: enjoy your next trip as it doesn't matter if it's overpriced or not as you're on holiday then! I'm sure this Boere Ballen at least won't be poor quality  !

I was there this weekend... asked the budlady about the "Boere Ballen" hash... it seemed like it was her first day working there... she asked the other budtender... He told me it´s ice o lator hash

I was expecting like Jesscass said some maroccan egg hash or maybe black hash... I don´t know how they come on the name "Ballen"... the hash was cutted of a small slab... not really soft and pinable... don´t bubble much when lighting it. But it has a nice smell when you heat it... very skunky :)

Overall nothing to die for but a nice different variety with a new taste and different high (pretty strong)... It reminds me of the Ice O Lator I got from Coffeeshop Kosbor in Maastricht years ago. It was also same priced (15€/g)

@Jesscass I was a little bit dissappointed that the "Boeren Ballen" were no Maroccan egg hash  but luckily the "Noor 2000" from Dampkring2/Tweede Kammer was maybe from an egg :D and had also superb quality

@Marok21
Thanks for the review that probably saves me going to Boerejongens next time I'm in town as I'm not so much after ice-o-lators. As I pointed out in the post above quality knows no shape as I have seen same quality in different shapes(eggs/slabs/unpressed)so don't worry. And even though some original eggs may be superior when it comes to taste, smell and so on they don't need to be strong stuff it always depends.
Thanks too for testing this Noor 2000 in Tweede Kamer - seems to be an excellent update on the 'old Noor'. Hope as well that they still have it in stock as it seems I'm in town soon again but not sure when yet. Anyway, I knew you would know about the bling bling , cheers  !

Use to like the little stix shop for a stop and hot chocolate. Wears were never up to much but a nice spot.
Look forward to see what farm boys have to offer.

Had a gram of White Choco and GSC blocks. Preferred the White Chocolate, softer with more of a potent, long lasting buzz. Shop was nice, had a dispensary feel with all the employees wearing lab coats.

I am a bit confused... They seem to have more than one shop, is the menu in all their locations the same? And could someone please tell me the adress of their shops? I only found this one: Baarsjesweg 239
