Re: The plug Amsterdam
Rumors abuzz, word on the street is that it'll be located somewhere between Spui and Rembrandtplein, so on the Southern fringes of the center's core-area...

Re: The plug Amsterdam
I am extremely disappointed about this. So many shops that suck, and were going to lose one of the coolest shops in Dam. I don't care how great The Plug is - losing Utopia is a net loss regardless.

Re: The plug Amsterdam
Overall I was happy about The Plug moving to Amsterdam as I think the more connections and cross pollination between the two biggest cannabis scenes within the EU can only be a good thing. When this came out I was a bit upset, but as it's a joint venture lets see how it goes. I'm sure they will gut Utopia to make it bigger so yes we will loose it, but change is the only constant in life.ZBeebs wrote: Sun 6th May 2018 03:40 am I am extremely disappointed about this. We tend to lament changes to CSs here but this type of consolidation which leads to closure of smaller more independent establishments is also taking place across Europe in the pub/bar sector too. Let's celebrate the European scene connecting and not lament the passing of the old Utopia too much.
I've been spending more and more time in the south and west, can see this trend continuing though I need to get out east too.

Has the shop only been sold to another shop to do a colab with the Plug?
Or the plug took it outright?
anyone know? I am guessing option 2
