Passport out of date🤦

Can't stand the whole getting a new passport process and a passport renewal here is basically the same price as a new one..oh and it takes 8 weeks to process!8 weeks!? summer will be over by then wanted to go asap.was thinking about hopping on a ferry but you even need a passport for that nowadays smh what's going on
