I got one of these a fw months ago. Got it dirt cheap from what turned out to be a slightly dodgy website (the one on the link looks a bit less dodgy). Great camera with an excellent macro function.
It's excellent for both the "point and click"-ers and the advanced types as it's got a really good intelligent auto, but also a manual function.

Not bad camera that one, i have a couple of what i would
call good cameras but the one i choose to carry with me
every where is my Fuji finepix F610 has a point n shoot
facility but also has many manual settings for those who
whish to try some artsy shots.

Hey Kermit, no it doesn't it has its own recharchable battery (charger comes with it) it's actually quite a good bit of kit and well worth the money IMO

2 weeks ago I bought a Kodak Easyshare V1233.

Fantastic camera. 12 MP- Face detection for up to 5 people. Has 24 different camera modes if your in the mood for those arty farty pictures.
Original price £250- But I picked it up half price- there is a deal at argos at the moment. To see the quality of pics- see the - 'what are you smoking right now thread' and look for my pic- should be on page 20 or 21! But this cam was bought for the sole purpose of my dam trip this week, so I'll have plenty to upload upon my return next week.[/url]
