You sure your talkin bout the 420 man.
Cos it ain't that small or hard to find a seat , sounds like your talkin bout the GA to me.

What would you guys recommend as a first smoke for 2 virgin 'Dammers, some NYCD from de Kuil or the infamous Cheese of HGF?

I'm thinkin' the sativa is the way to go......
Before anything, get the daily dose of choke.....

I'd agree Fenix.
I personally prefer the taste of a good NYCD over cheese anyway. Regardless of my opinion though, Sativa is definatly the way to Start the day.

Anyone know if their vaporizer policy changed? Will they let you vape outside gear? I've always encountered resistance from the weedtender at 420 Cafe, particularly if it's the older guy with the wacky pirate beard (who I assume is the owner -- dude, did you just walk off the label of a bottle of rum?).

I can't remember ever getting anything from de Kuil that made my jaw drop, with the exception of some SSH around a decade ago. I might be willing to part with my hard won ducats over a nice piece of Parvati Cream, but that's not vapo-friendly. While we're on the topic, feel free to throw out any nice hash suggestions at de Kuil.

Back to vaping, what's nice there? BB? SSH? Neville's?

Never had any problems with this shop. Love the mellow cat and the real nice soft black they sell and it also has a handy bakery just across the street.

Catching ACD people there is the only good point about that coffeeshop for me!

That was JCredit you met up with. I was chatting to him a few days ago, maybe beginning of April? He was in the 420 then.

I have no idea who the pirate bearded guy in question is. So i'll leave it at that. The owner most definitely does not work in the shop, thats for sure!!

They do not care where your weed comes from, and there is no charge to Vape. Dude, just realised, a decade ago? Man, staff turnover in a coffeeshop and all that. Current stock of SSH is fantastic and blueberry is good. I don't buy anything else in here really, but I do remember to check on some of the others every now and again.[/quote]

Thanks for answering the question Soulrider! And I must admit, I haven't seen the infamous and notorious Blackbeard for many a year now. Arghh! Last couple of times, it was a clean-shaven, brown-haired dutch guy. Tall too, but that goes without saying...

Would also like to add that I've been following your blog with great interest and appreciation. Good luck on the new life!

I liked this place.

Nice staff. Quite an upmarket, classy vibe I felt. Not at all skanky.

I also really rated their weed. I tried the NYCD & the Kush. These were probably the worst looking but hardest hitting buds I had over the course of my four day visit.

Highly recommended by the starcatcher.

I went to this place last October, just posting now as I only signed up for the forum recently. Its quite a decent place to chill, not very big, I enjoyed the NYC Diesel they had at the time...

De Kuil, still is one of the best coffeeshops, and the NYCD i had over 42o was beautiful :D :D . Also tried the SSH and Neville's Haze, which were both nice and some Carramello Hash, im not a real hash smoker, but this was actually quite nice. Staff still as friendly as ever :D
Excuse me while I light my Spliff.....

i was chattin to the guy from the midlands that works there & he kind of confirmed what milehigh was saying couple weeks back, he said that the boss was lobbying the city authorities to allow him to move to another location when he is forced to close, & that he wants the rules changed on the passing on of the license so that he can sell it, he also confirmed that the boss does NOT want marijuana legalised, he wants it to stay the way it is.So it sounds like the guy is a money hungry prick only interested in his own pocket. But at the end of the day as long as the staff that work there remain to be some of the friendliest in dam, & as long as the smoke stays at the quality it is i will still always go there
