Has anybody ever tried it ... i mean obviously with Mariguana plants.... and if you have how do you go with it?

Find a spot off the beaten path, plant your seeds, use chicken wire to wrap around the base of the plant and leave lots of little pieces of copper around to put off the slugs and snails. Make sure the spots got good sunlight all day and hope for the best. Try to use a short/medium indica which will stay concelled well, a shorter finishing plant is also useful as the more chance its out in the feild the more chance there is of it getting found. Try to spread your grows out ( in regards to distance ) and visit them either early morning when theres less prying eyes about.

A natural water source nearby is key as well, there was a big outdoor grow documented on You Tube, search for 'Brown Dirt Warrior' and watch his vids, they'll help.

awesome thank you lads... in front of me house i got a huge field which no one uses unfortunately im afraid of rats roaming which may cause damage to the plants. I gues thats the cause for the chiken wire innit

p.s. can any1 suggest some good strains

i wouldnt worry to much about rats... once the plants establish themselves the rats wont be able to damage them. many bigger animals should be of worry like we have in the northern parts of ontario and in bc etc. like bears and moose and deer and rabits and squirrels and much more. also the chicken wire is a good idea and so is the copper. also piss a bunch around the area.. not anywhere near the plants, but around the general area.. again i repeat do not piss on your plants

also water is a main factor as depending on how much it rains where you are and how hot the days get.. it could mean everything to your crop.

also it is important to not leave any trails to your crop and tell no one... or else you can pretty much count on them being jacked.

also you need to use a soil mix that contains nutrients as you wont be there to go back and feed them when needed. some type of organic mix would be best suited. the only downside to using some organic nutes is that animals like the smell of them and dig the ground up to find what below.. in the process uprooting your babies.

If you are in Malta, then I'll be you could even grow a sativa outdoors!

You would have an ideal climate and long enough Autumn to get the plants to maturity!

However, if the field is simply that a field, with no trees (or cover) then the plants would stick out like a sore thumb. If you have trees or other coverage that would hide the plants then, for a really basic guerilla grow, I would recommend the following:

1) Choose a spot that gets all day sunshine, and has a nearby source of water (unless you want to lug in water...not a good idea) AND is well out of sight and/or off the beaten path.

For a grower, the only thing worse that having cops get your stash (and possibly you) is for ramblers to make a score a week before the plants are ready to come out.

2) Prepare the soil of the grow area (means lugging in the soil and soil mixes, digging the holes, filling them with soil or soil mix.

3) After you have let you clones acclimatise to natural sun (by having them out in sun for longer and longer periods), then plant them in the grow area. Put chicken wire around plants/grow area.

4) To futher discourage animals, either piss around the perimeter of the grow area or pour piss around the area. The smell of preditors/humans can be discouraging to herbivores. (Note, if you wash egg shells so they have no trace of egg on them (otherwise rats could be attracted), break them up a bit more and spread them around your grow area, this can discourage snails/slugs.

copper has a natural self induced charge....it kinda give the snails a small electric shock that is passed through their slime...like licking an electric fence

it wont kill the slimey little shits but it'll make them think twice....think of it as a low power livestock fence......just a slightly shocking experience for them....no worse than us licking a 9volt battery....its a harmless non fatal deterrent
