Re: Grey Area
Thanks Gapie! That's the lowest price I've ever seen for G13. Now I know where I can get some girl scout cookies as well.
I come in peace. Take me to your pizza!

I highly doubt they'd charge €13/g for real Cookies. No doubt they'd throw it in their €16/g section, and if word got out they had real and proper Cookies, they could easily get away with adding a few more bucks to that.
I'd love to be proven wrong tho, might pick up a gram to try out later today.

Hang on. This is an utterly ridiculous post on so many levels.Von Goat Weed wrote:Cookies are probably not that nicely grown and why it's cheaper! Firstly, way to make a dumb generalisation about 250 million people. And anyway, if we're talking national stereotypes, brash and annoying perhaps but I'm not at all sure how "selling bad herb and screwing people" is a typical American trait at all. If it is coffeeshops ripping off stoner tourists we're after, at least 95% of them are under Dutch ownership surely?
However setting that aside, one of the reasons these threads are so useful for people visiting Amsterdam is because of the informative posts people make in them from their own experience of the shops. All you've done above is make a series of logic jumps without any knowledge at all in a way that is quite unfair on the place in question.
Personally I don't tend to visit GA at all so I have no interest in defending them particularly, but over the years their product and service has mostly been relatively well respected so just assuming a weed there is badly grown crap intended to rip off tourists, on the basis just of it being a reasonable price, is quite absurd. It may not be "real" cookies but it might well still be a perfectly good smoke for all you know - unless you've actually tried it there?

Well you got that right 250 million out of 313million makes the general of people (3/4)Not_the_monk wrote:Hang on. Choc fondue is a lovely smoke but I reckon voyagers and 1ehulps would be better than GAs. Hear constantly good reviews of the greyberry and yellow cab but never tried myself.

This/last weeks Shoreline and Evergrey were top notch, however I wouldn't spend €16/g on 'm. Kosher is ridiculously priced, would much rather get Voyagers' testing tuesday Kosher now on the menu for €12/g. Not the same, but close enough.

I was here last Monday. The Grey Crystal, Silver Bubble & Yellow Cab where all spot on, especially the Yellow Cab for the money (9 euros) it's superb. Good weed, good prices and they had Bongs & Vaporisers to use. My only complain is the smoking space is to small and they get full and crowded with customers queuing quick which makes it hard to relax.

Re: Grey Area
Smoked a gram of the Grey Crystal here, mixed with a gram of SSH from Betty's last week. Not as strong as I thought. Got a buzz but not stoned, not what I expected from the Crystal here. Didn't try the weed but might have to go with that next time and see how it goes.
