I thought the downstairs area was ok for tobacco, and the upstairs was pure only? That's what I was told anyway, and that's how we use it, haven't had any problems. It's worth clarifying for the next time you go back! I smoke pure, but my best friend doesn't, so we often head to Dolphins to satiate both our vices at once.

Their weed is great, especially the White Dolphin, and it's fantastic value for such high quality. Don't be fooled by the small selection on the menu! I've never tried their hash properly, but enjoyed the flavour of a small toke from my friend's joint when she was having the Royal Dolphin hash.

This is definitely one of the most comfortable places to hang out. Gotta love those couch-booth things downstairs.

I am a tobacco smoker and I remember smoking tobacco downstairs. Maybe I was breaking the rules ? But I thought it was cool ? And I think the budtender came by and didnt say anything. Me likey me some White Dolphin (one of my faves.) when its a good batch

Yes downstairs is for tobacco, before the rules came in Dolphins was the only coffeeshop I knew that did this anyway.

Good to know as i like some hash joints! nothing like some splifs with templeball or fine polm .

still rocking the White Dolphin and the NL was a good daytime smoke.

I dident really rate the white dolphin last time I was here, was over dry and quite weak altho perfectly smokeable it wernt great, 2 years ago it was nice as I remember, I'm going in a few weeks so will have to try again. I always love chilling downstairs, I have always wondered what's in the other room downstairs under the stairs, anyone know?

A few years back , they were still in business so to speak but were not allowed to sell weed/hash for a while !

O right I did not know this I have been every year since 2006, must have been lucky to only go there when I can try their herb.

Yeah i cant remember when exactly ? i heard about the place then went to check it out one trip but they could not sell weed , you could smoke your own though !! maybe 2003/04 ?

Thats still been my only visit i might have to check in on it again as i have seen their cool receipts

Was def around 2004. Think they wanted to start a canal cruise smoking trip, but that may have been somewhere else.

Hey Codejd any details on the white dolphin? Do they still have free wifi?

Think Ohm Sweet Ohm bought it quite recently (maybe 1 month ago max) and said it was good and worth the price

it's a nice heavy smoke very similar to other "whites" around town...really can't comment on the WI-FI as i don't use that stuff, sorry.

i have always really liked this shop; simple menu, comfy seating and normally a friendly staff...what more could you ask for
