I thought I would have trouble finding this one but it was found easy enough, nipped in for a gram of turkish and a cake, the hash was lovely nice and strong but the cake........ fuck me it is easily the strongest edible I have ever had, I ate over half yesterda at noon before the airport and was still stoned by 8 last night, though i ate halg a g of voyagers moroccan as well , Paradox looks like a locals shop but I was surprised by how friendly the Budtender was and even a couple of local men stopped their conversation to say good evening to me.

the Turkish here at he moment is very tasty as usual! We got some on monday....delicious

Nice friendly shop. Decent music. Had some of their outdoor Purple here. The taste was very 'outdoor' - kinda rough, and a decent but mellow high (which is what I was after). 7E for 1.2g. Played a game of chess. Comfortable place - I'd go back.

any recent purchases here? still a pretty good shop to chill and have a bevy?

Don't worry TwoCanucks, I've been in Paradox on 8 different trips and the quality has always been consistent, for a really decent price...

I was in the neighborhood and popped in here on Saturday evening just before 8 pm. I bought some Kandy Kush (2.2g for 24e) on the advice of the really nice budtender, but, believe it or not I haven't tried it yet, because I'm having this infatuation with the Zooltjes hash from Club Media at the moment. I also asked about a strain called KD that was on his menu, and he went into a long explanation of how normally the names of the strains have something to do with the characteristics of the weed, but in this case he didn't know why it was called KD. He was really apologetic for not being able to tell me more. He must have thought that I was a real connaisseur or something, which I'm not, and when I told him I was only interested because my initials are KD, we had a good laugh. He said it was a racy sativa, which I wasn't in the mood for at the time, but I bought half a gram (can't remember the price) because of the name of the strain. Once again, I haven't really tried it yet.
The thing that endeared me the most is that after I bought my gear, I was about to order something to drink and he told me he was closing in fifteen minutes. 8 pm on a Saturday night! I thought that was really laid back. So be warned, it is not a late night place.

Popped by here the other Sunday , really just after a toastie and Milkshake but unfortunately the kitchen was shut , never mind bought a small piece of the Turkish hash (lovely as usual)

Ran into SS67 (who I didn't even know was in Amsterdam) as he was leaving so had an impromptu T&T

Ive heard theyve got the best space cakes so im gonna go there and stock up for my 9hr plane ride home. if they have any sort of 5g deal ill probably get some herb too. anyone know if they have any discount when u buy 5g? and any recomendations on particular strains of weed or hash?

For hash make sure you try their Turkish....always on my list.. Be sure to try a toasted sandwich as well

And I'll add my voice to the chorus recommending the Turkish. I'll add that Paradox has always taken great pride in their hash, and it's worth talking to the budtender about what's currently in stock. For example, they often have finger hash, which you don't see very on very many menus. When I was there in late October the Manali Jungle was also very nice.

Never been here in 14 times of going to the dam.
