Hi guys! We(My Wife and I) have tried the block hash from AG the last august... tangerineG13 block and lemonhaze block and we have been happy with it. We'll be back soon and we look forward to try the new quality from AG menu.

P.S. Avete proprio ragione a dire che il fumo in Italia fa veramente schifo, se ne trova a chili ma solo di pessima qualità ...ormai da tempo si fuma solo in vacanza, quasi sempre in Olanda, alcune volte in Spagna.
Saremo in A'dam dal 29 ottobre per alcuni giorni, speriamo di conoscere di persona qualcuno di voi!

Today was my AK Choco day smoked only that till now:

AK Choco Block (9€/g)

Look: From the look pretty similar to the Kosher Choco Block. Very dark sticky creamy hash.

Smell: Smells also like the Kosher Choco Block more hashy than many other blocks I had in the past but
I would say deeper and more fruity in a way. When kneading the big hash chunks and the oil comes out it´s
so damn yammmy

Taste: Chocolaty creamy taste.

Price: 9€/g is an awesome value for that hash! The AK-OG Bloc I got in the past was from the look more like the Blue Dream batch I got this time... more like a moroccan lighter brown hash. But that example is so damn sticky and looks really nice.

Effect: A very nice smooth stoned effect... not as longlasting as the Kosher Choco Block but it´s definitely
potent and cost the half of the Kosher C. Bloc. After smoking a few bowls I also recognised that it made me a little bit more sleepy than the Kosher.

Overall: A very nice hash for the price. Super sticky oily stuff. The only so damn sticky hash I saw in that price range
was the C3 Pioneer Bloc from Tweede Kammer/Dampkring#2 but I like the AK C. Block a lot more especially
the taste. The Kosher Choco Bloc (18€/g) is the best hash from the testing for me in taste and effect but if
you see that the AK Choco Bloc cost half of it it´s just a great great value. Killer!

Tomorrow I will take a closer look on the Blue Dream Bloc

Lately those new kinds of hash blocks are everywhere, even here in italy. The only difference is that here we have a limited choice of genetics. They are all from spain, where they seem to use mainly dna genetics strains, as 24k, chocolope, and Nicole kush. Marketing!?
I spent some months asking to my links how this new kind of hash is made (because of the difference with trad hash) and i find out that it's made from freezed freshly harvested plants. Seems good to me.
From my limited experience, these hashes rarely taste like the strain they are made from.

I have to say that i like those, but i liked more the "old new school hash" we had some years ago, (from mexi, jamaican, paki and indian strains) because of the taste and they were usually easier to handle.

They told us that the block hashes are made of dried buds... I asked why some of them are so damn sticky... they said it´s only because of the new genetics and the farmers who produce the hash have their farms on different heights that´s also a reason why some block hashes looking different.

I also prefer this old new school hashes with genetics from paki, afghani, mexi plants. I liked the flavors of that hashes a lot but it´s getting harder and harder to get these hashes. You see a lot more of that new
genetics hashes around... the good thing for me as a hashsmoker is that the current batches seems to taste more like hash than weed again. I had many batches of that new school hashes wich really smelled/tasted like weed but wasn´t that strong to me compared to a usual hash. I mean for example when u smoke a bong of some nice usual hash (or these current block batches) you have these thick clouds of smoke but when I smoked the first batches of some block hashes the smoke wasn´t that thick...

I really like the new block hashes I tried so far but hopefully someone saves the older genetics ,too.

Makes sense.... I think the higher up a grow is, the more "protective" oil is produced by the plant... I'm guessing the more eastern strains are biologically inclined to produce more, anyway.... Maybe this is the beginning of a sort of hybrid Nepoccan hash?!

Blue Dream Block (8€/g)

Look: Looks more like a usual lighter brown moroccan hash but still with a good oil content. It reminds me of the White Chcoc Bloc I scored in the past. It´s also pretty fresh and soft (but not so sticky as the other batches) so it´s very easy to built a joint for example.

Smell: Spicy but also minty scents. Like DeLeuksteNUGS16 wrote before it reminds me also more of a classic block hash.

Taste: Chocolaty creamy taste

Price: 8€/g is a nice price for hash like that.

Effect: From the three different hashes I tried that is maybe the best daytime hash for me. It´s definitely strong... you still be active but there are also stoned effects. A nice smooth daytime high I would say.

Overall: Nice taste. I mean I liked the taste of that sticky nearly black hashes, too but these lighter brown hashes taste different and have a stronger taste to me. The hash gave me a real nice daytime high/stoned and 8€/g is a real good value for hash like that

can't wait for December, to try some of these new hashes out, wanted to go this summer, but unfortunately we didn't realise about the more central shop and we were only just round the corner !!, cheers for the reviews DeLeuksteNUGS16 and Marok21 , really comprehensive and interesting, and got my taste buds going

It's widely accepted by the Botanical community that Cannabis Sativa (hemp) plants that had seeds sown at - and therefore grew (and grew accustomed - over generations) to higher altitudes became shorter in stature to protect themselves from the wind and started to produce more trichomes in an attempt to protect themselves from the sun.

This is one of the mechanisms by which it's thought Cannabis Indica evolved from it's putative ancestor that more closely resembles hemp in terms of it's production of THC.

They have a little comfy smoker room upstairs but it´s not allowed to smoke with tabacco. In the past it used to be a buy and fly shop but they added that smoker room upstairs since some time.
