Popped in last week to see how is the shop with the new owners. I noticed that the graphic of the menu of basjoe was the same goa coffeeshop. the guy that served me was nice but not so knowledged about his gears. the shop is always so it's nice place to chill. I asked about James and they told me he is travelling around the wolrd maybe coming back to Amsterdam in 1 year or so. I bought 1g of white choco for 12,5E which was nice but nothing special 8+/10, bit overpriced. My mate bought 1 g of sour power for 15 E which was really nice weed, strong effects, well cured and lot of crystals, 9/10. I think this shop is no more on my top 3, it's still a nice shop to chill, comfty and nice, but no more the same without James behind the bar. It's shame they do not have more Cream Special on the menu, that was best indian hash in the dam imo.

Good for James! (Although the part of me that was hoping to be able to track him down in April is a bit bummed.) Thanks Colino, for passing that information along.

It's nice to hear that there is still some good weed to be found there, I will check it out next trip.

It is indeed a shame. It was a lovely piece of hash, had a great menthol like quality to the smell and taste. I got my last gram in Dec 2011. Now I wish I had smoked it on its own to experience it in its full glory. Instead I flattened it, rolled it up and put it inside a bas special spliff:

It was still lovely.

Peng, your pictures kill me. So good.

James had just turned me on to the cream special in early October. That was seriously good stuff. Has anyone had the Amnesia Haze? I'm so curious to know if it's from the same person.

RIP Basjoe's Cream Special

Again, thanks for the bud porn.
Any chance getting some personal opinion of the gear, and not just from Basjoe?
Thanks again..
Happy trails...

Does anyone know if the new owners of Basjoe kept the Bas Special? It was by far the best smoke of my last trip. Went by Basjoe on a Friday night at 7:00pm and they were closed. Hope the new owners keep standard operating hours.....

Bas special is no more on the menu. I took a pic of the new menu, you can check it out on my report https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewt ... 10&t=20361
