think we pissed off the bar guy although he seemed pretty pissed when we went in then my mate dropped an empty bottle which didnt smash and have to say didnt feel wanted kept getting looks and stuff

Have to say could of caught the guy at a bad time so maybe wait till i make it over again and give it another chance since people have bad days.

On a side note terminator was in when i was there on like the 11th or 12th but we didn't get any cause we had like maybe 60 odd euros left for weed and that would have cost a load for a few spliffs when we could get a chunk of good stuff for that from elsewhere.

I hope someone gets in there soon and gets some Terminator... would love to hear allllllllllll about it!

I can confirm they have terminator stock, and tis just as stronger as ever See my trip report.

THe budtender James was a top bloke, helped me pick some top stuff.

James even let me hit the terminator to decide whether i should buy it !

Qaulity of gear is top notch, they have the strongest stuff in Dam ,the Terminator 50e a G.

Best coffeshop for good gear and good times !

The closest thing to Terminator, is probably an infusuon of Crack, Concaine, cognac and redbull with some rocketfull !!

A super relaxed place , budtender is the most laid back ever, reports about his dreadlock are underated lol, it's seriously huge
Grab the seats outside if you can , excellent views , didn't try the Terminator but can highly recommend the Bas Special yum yum

We were looking forward to see the place after all the positive reports here.
Went there on thursday the 23-07, and let the mrs. take a seat for us outside while I picked up some starter from your buddy James.
We like to take it slow when visiting a new spot, so I asked for a gram of Super Silver Haze. Got a decidedly cold reception and then he proceeded to wiegh up a gram -from the bottom of the bag of SSH!
I couldn't believe it!
That's no way to treat a paying customer! I'd rather have been refused than
get fucked like that.
Paid for it, got some coffee and went out to sit with my wife.
The shitty crumblings I just got went in a quickly rolled joint, we lit up, drank
our coffee, and then I sent in the mrs to get whatever he would recommend for her, just to get something decent to go.
Bas special? Give me some Dr. Grinspoon instead. Much better high.
Sorry, but looks like I won't be going back there.

I've read good things on this place, but seen its pricey menu.

I may drop in and see what its like.

I like to take it slow in some places with just a gram, sometimes ill get 5 off the bat, but like most people, want to test a gram before i purchase a 5g bag.

Buying the 1gram disappoints some tenders i have noticed.
Some react in a way and some actually say "just 1 gram?" appearing surprised.

ill give it a go and see if any problems.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy Basjoes, and I can understand your feelings as James is a little hard to read at first.

Dr Grinspoon and Bas Special are two very different weeds and highs though.

Grinspoon is pure sativa and very energizing, with a nice long high that keeps you thinking and active.

Depending on the Bas Special, indica or sativa, you may have been misled as to the high you expected.

Bas Special Indica is a "hammertime" weed that lifts you up at first like a sativa, but smashes your head into the back of your patio chair.

If you had the Bas Special sativa, expecting the indica or vice-versa, it's quite possible the high you anticipated was the other strain.

Or.... you just got a weak bud of the shit, and it disappointed.

Regardless, it too bad, and I hope you give Basjoes another try.

They also have at least three other weeds priced at 7e - 8e and a couple others at 10e or less.

Terminator is the most expensive on the menu at 1 gram for 50e.

The pricing here is fair, don't be fooled.

Well I bobbed in here yesterday to pick up some of this Terminator. When I announced I was looking for some of his world famous Terminator, you should have seen his smile (those really are the longest dreadlocks in the world!). The chap loaded up a large pipe full of the stuff before even contemplating sorting out my deal for me so I was utterly smashed by the time I had to pay. The guy seems genuinely impressed that we are all talking about and loving his extract.

I have to say that this stuff looks and acts the same as Budder. I am amazed that you can buy it so openly in Amsterdam. I got a couple of cocktail sticks to scrap small blobs on to the end of my pure spliffs and it just bubbles its way down my joint, taking me somewhere completely different. Very satisfying!

We should try to organise a small discount for ACD members...

dont be sorry...if yer not there ill have a seat.......and if ya didnt like the way it was done ya say no thanks then move on,its yer hard earned money and you should spend it on better things...so in conclusion i wont be seeing you at basjoe at nine every evening after november 17th....

I didn't expect the phenomenal reception some of you guys get there.
But I'm a pro when it comes to treating a customer right when you run a
business. James wasn't hard to read. He disliked my presence at first sight.
Btw, I didn't buy the Bas. We usually start with some SH, then try the specials. Didn't get to the specials as you see.
My wife got some nice Orange Bud when she went in to get some for the
road, by the way... and this time not from the bottom.
I'm still sorry that I didn't take my money and left at first, but guess it's my loss, not yours.... Enjoy

I prefer sativas during the day and indicas later. We only smoke Moroccan at home, I doubt we'd get to see much of Amsterdam if we did any of the more serious indicas before we got back to our hotel area at nightfall.
