I completely support your movement, but i do think it slightly unfair to blacklist a coffeeshop just because it wont donate to your particular organisation, though i do agree they are all capitalists (a dutch creation). You obviously have far more knowledge & info than me, just curious did you get to speak to the boss? & if so what was his reply when you explained your cause?

you dont live in or near the netherlands, the busines is very complicated organised, but even if a shop like 420 donated to EVERY organisation in the netherlands they would still make a lot of money(a gram of usual strains like white widow costs them around 3-4€ when they buy it and they sell it for 8-9€ so you can imagine how much profit they make out of only 1kg which isnt much for a shop in such an area), but I dont think a man who only thinks of us as money will donate to ANY of these...thats what MH wants to say IMHO, I dont think he would post something like this if it was only about his own organisation he isnt the type to do so....correct me if I am wrong

I dont live that far, 55mins. as you read in my previous post i FULLY support milehighs organisation, but why should a coffeeshop be outcast because it doesn't wish to donate to every single organisation,thats why i asked what the boss's answer to milehigh was when he asked for a donation.i have no problem with them making millions of pounds (we dont live in a communist europe where making money is illegal) as long as they provide a good service, which 420 has always done with me + i would have thought they pay less than 3-4euros for a gram of ww

As far as i am concerned, every coffeeshop is in place to make money... and make money De Kuil does. So what if the owner is a little outspoken, so was Jose Morinho when in charge at Chelsea and everybody loved him!!!.... Weed is a money making business, otherwise it would be legal over the whole world to legally grow what amount you wanted to consume, everybody involved in making money off weed is involved, whether thats the owner of De Kuil (great coffeeshop), whethers thats a paraphinalia shop, or whether it is Mile High (who offers tours for guess what £££), good luck... I personally wouldnt take a Ganja Tour as i believe it would be a waste of money, but im sure if i sat down with Mile High over a nice doobie we'd have a good conversation about weed cultures...and so on......

I would still visit De Kuil as ive never had a complaint about them, always found their staff friendly and helpful and always had good weed out of there.....

I appreciate your support. I have personally blacklisted DeKuil and stated my reasons. Everyone is very free to make their own choice. It's not like my opinion is going to affect thousands of coffeeshop visitors. I just thought since we are a community here I could share my opinion and it would be considered at least.

Yes I spoke to the boss as I have many times before. I did not ask him for any donation. His position was not clear to me until recently. I am not a good enough writer to go into detail about all that was said. It was just crystal clear that he does not like cannabis smokers or cannabis. He thinks we are drug addicts and he only wants our money as long as he can get it. He has no interest in preserving the Amsterdam cannabis culture.

Yes all shops are in business to make money. Thats how they pay their rent and buy their groceries just like the rest of us. Some do it with proper motivation and smoke their own products and some do it for the money and don't smoke their own products. I choose to do business with people that feel the same way I do. You can do business where ever you want.

This is the last thing I have to say about DeKuil. The owner is not a good person and does not deserve your business in my opinion.

Did you know all coffeeshops are forced to mark up the product by a minimum of 100% by the tax authority? Weird huh?

Of course you have absolutely no idea at all, but I appreciate your comment anyway. You just believe wrong. My tours are the most fantastic tours ever. Every single guest without exception has said it was the highlight of their trip. Many have hired my company for a second day after the first tour.

I dont know where you heard that liquid swords but I have yet to hear a bad word about MH ganja tours, well I have from you 2 minutes ago. Anyone that I have read that went on them lovd every minute of them.

Same, all the people ive heard from have seriously enjoyed it, and tbh if someone is deserving of your buisness its MH, and he provides smoke on the trip. So your paying for good smoke and a walk/bike round 'dam with someone who knows the city and knows the weed.

MH i appreciate your points, it will make me think about the shops i enter. I have previously mentioned i really like Siberia i didnt know it was related to other shops you mentioned. I dont like Dampkring, its a bit too hetic for me, but its nice to hear that at least one more commerical shops is doing its part.

For me i like 420, i like the vibes the music and the NYCD. It has a wikid bakery opposite, there owner may be a Douche Bag. But ive never met him, ive always been treated nicely there, and some of my best times have been in there. I think the buds in there are very nice, i would put it up there with Mellow Yellow, Paradox and Picasso with my preferred places to score.

Its a same to hear about the owner, but, i think the shop is definantly worth a visit, at least in my books. MH its interesting to get a view into the personal ideals of a coffeeshop, thanks for that man. I hope eventually you may be able to change the scene out there to a scene closer to the oringnal ideas of the cannabis community.

I dont think he heard it he just gave his opinion re: him personally, I think to a new visitor to the city/country a Ganja Tour would be a good way to go (I always say new visitors should take a canal tour with one of those large boats as they give you a feel to the city) but those that have been multiple times wouldn't get as much out of it as others.
