Also apartmentpaul is great and he is such a cool guy. He picked us up from CS, took us to the local AH and didnt kick us out when I had forgotten to read the confirmation email properly and didn't have all of the damage deposit.
Cant recommend that place highly enough.
Peace

NH Barbizon
Super Friendly. No problems with weed, confirmed with hotel staff. I believe all the NH chains hotels are!

if you plan to stay at camping zeeburg, please have a look at the homepage of the racing circuit zandvoort to confirm that there is no race in the time of your stay, because it will be loud, especially when the DTM (german touring cars) stops by, you will have a lot of binchdrinking germans that support their opel, audi, mercedes or whatever team... they even have reserved space for these guys... very uncomfy when there is a race... the last turn before the finishing straight is just next to the tents... when there is no race, its like nirvana
NH Tropen is not smoker friendly, but they have balconys surrounding the facade completely, easy to reach through the big windows... and dry even when rainy

I saw the hotel list in the first post but does anyone know of any more upmarket hotels where it's absolutely fine to toke away.
I found this studio
http://www.getreadyamsterdam.com/apartm ... adestudio/
which looks fine but i'm sure i could get a better deal on a hotel, just which one?
