I've been to BB 3 times before, but never purchased any weed, so this time gave em a try, and i'm glad I did! The quality of the bud at BB is better than just about any cafe, and i've been to all the best ones, the SS Haze is top notch, and the Blueberry wiped me out, definately worth a try!

Ive walked past this place many times over the years but ive never been in,Mainly due to the bad press its had i must say! + the impression i personaly got from this place was boring/unhelpfull & over priced! a typical tourist trap,& i dont intend on going in either! not with popeyes/dampkring & rockerij just down the road

you should give it a try next time you are there. its true that the dealers arent too friendly, but they have never been rude with us, I mean, they are not as friendly as in the Dampkring (1) Mellow Yellow or other good shops, but they dont stare at you or try to rip you off. the weed is of very good quality and you will definitely find some nice strains/tastes you wont find in any other shop in the city, try it!Kingdoc wrote:Ive walked past this place many times over the years but ive never been in,Mainly due to the bad press its had i must say! + the impression i personaly got from this place was boring/unhelpfull & over priced! a typical tourist trap,& i dont intend on going in either! not with popeyes/dampkring & rockerij just down the road.

Yeh man the bud here is okay (IMO) and they are not as rude as a couple of others that spring to mind. The OJ is pretty nice2.sh@dy wrote:you should give it a try next time you are there. its true that the dealers arent too friendly, but they have never been rude with us, I mean, they are not as friendly as in the Dampkring (1) Mellow Yellow or other good shops, but they dont stare at you or try to rip you off. the weed is of very good quality and you will definitely find some nice strains/tastes you wont find in any other shop in the city, try it!Kingdoc wrote:Ive walked past this place many times over the years but ive never been in,Mainly due to the bad press its had i must say! + the impression i personaly got from this place was boring/unhelpfull & over priced! a typical tourist trap,& i dont intend on going in either! not with popeyes/dampkring & rockerij just down the road.
Its not a bad shop considering it is a more tourist area and worth a visit.
Dont forget if you dont like whats on the menu you can walk away same with the service.
enjoy

Hang on, your criticising this place for being a tourist trap - when you like dampkring.....eh
Only went in on a couple of occasions, nice interior downstairs with comfy seating, music and lighting was subdued. Got some excellent bubblegum from here - lovely high which gave me a great feelgood and energy boost with each joint.
not my faourite shop, but not a bad shop by any means & i found the dealer to be pretty helpful & saw him take a lot of time explaining how things worked and what to try when some jet lagged but very excited new arrivals came in.
Minimum 10E purchase, think i got about 1.4g of bubblegum for that & i was very happy with that buy.

yeah, i loved the way Floyd's used to be. I stopped by on my oct trip & was far from impressed with what they had done to the shop.
But found a new favourite in Hill street blues which will be my base camp in future.
How did you find queensday weekend? my first trip took that weekend in & thought it was a brilliant time to be over there, cant understand why so many prefer to go for 420 a little earlier on in the month. The dam is one big party for Queens night and Queens day.

I probably will be tempted to go in for a leftover from the floyd's menu - Ummagumma hash, which was really nice & i forgot they had on the menu when i was last over....but i couldn't stand to stay in there it would just piss me off remembering it how it used to be.
Im standing firm on never giving Bulldog or grasshopper any money though

The bulldogs (singel & leidseplein) are only good for a drink/seat & a surf,I make a point of not going to grasshoppers thou
