thanks for all your recomendations guys,
went to library with my shortlist for your lot,
really gutted i couldnt get (they didnt have any record of this author) RUFUS's suggestion, in my skin, where did you get your copy from ??? sounds up my street (pardon the pun !)
i got one of "Stuart Macbrides" cant remember the title and i have packed it but looks good, has a chair on the front? thanks for that ARTY MAC...
i also managed to get the mrs & mr nice, i couldnt get into mr nice so will try this one, thanks FT
cisco those sound good, will look out for them,
and the mountain disaster one, thanks SS67
the history of the tulip bulb doesnt sound very gripping however, sorry

I recommend any of Malcolm Gladwell's books.
These three in particular:
Blink
The Tipping Point
Outliers

Chillers my American friend loaned her copy to me but I reckon you could get it of amazon. I do think you'd like it
And Arty fear not I'm neither addicted to heroin (hate needles) nor a hooker
but it is a cracking book that I relate to

i know its a biography but if you like rock'n'roll then "life"by keith richards is full to the brim with sex,drugs and rock'n'roll and then some.a compelling read...

enjoying it so far, although its keeping me from coming on here ....which is good cos i am soooo jealous of all these guys planning their trips
