Their top of the line Kali Mist was crucially potent, but I smoked a good 1/2 blunt of it to the head. Got so high, the barmaid took away my ashtray, blunt and all, and I even gave her permission to do so :P Nepal Gold hash I got there was ok, I can't really recall how it was. Still have some left, I'll have to smoke it n get back to you guys :)

Nice place, friend of mine had trouble getting up the thin wooden stairs after a few joints. I like'd the fact i could have a nice quite game of chess with friends while gettin mashed and forgetting how to play. Mate brought some smoke i forget what it was but it was very tasty and like i said he couldn't manage the stairs afterwards>

1st coffeeshop my girlfriend & I went to. Fell in love with the decor & the great atmosphere. Dealer guy is most helpful & really pleasent with it. Think I've had everything on the menu. Gotta admit the special is great for lovers  . Best to take it back to your hotel tho.

Great place to find a comfy seat when most shops are full.

Average buds and hash.

Usually friendly but certain bar staff can be a bit rude if they've been up clubbing all night !

I was a bit disappointed in the place so many say is the most beautiful shop in Amsterdam (like seeing a movie that's been super-hyped) but it definately has its charms, and the Hawaiian Haze we got there was a pretty tasty smoke.

Well, i' ve been in this shop twice in a week of vacation in amsterdam with a friend, and i can say for sure that it may be one of the best shops in town. its pretty small but when you while smoking and drinking your hash milkshake you just feel like chilling home.. Best place to visit and i recomend you to try their astonishing space cakes!

i had a nice stay there. i had to spend 5 hours in the city without a room, it was the last day from our travel. after a search of about 30 minutes we found it. and then the cookie fun started with a nice cup if hot chocolate. a nice idea are the tables with integrated games like chess :). nice atmospehre and good prices.

i will visit them again :)

Been there once during my last visit (Sep 2004). Was in the early morning and the place was pretty quiet.

I rolled up to the dealer counter and started chatting away to the friendly guy there about this and that and I showed him how my rolling machine worked before buying a couple of pre-rolled's along with a freshly squeezed O.J and sitting down on the couches next to the dealer counter to smoke one.

The enduring memory I have of this place is a young grey haired big guy who looked kinda like a bouncer or something.

I was looking out the window most of the time but out the corner of my eye I could see this guy staring right at me. He even went outside and looked at me through the window that I was looking out of and then came back in.

He never said anything to me at any time but he had a look on his face that seemed to suggest that I should finish up and leave as soon as I was finished.

Does anyone know if this guy still hangs around? He seemed to be friendly with a young Dutch girl who was working the juice bar at the time.

this shop is pretty nice. menu is not that great compared to other shops but it is still a nice place to come and smoke ur own ganja. i have not been there for a while but have heard they have closed the 3rd floor which is a shame b/c it was great sitting up there smoking a ncie spliff and watching some fine plants grow. :)

I like this place. It has free intenet which is handy. It is a pretty big place. It is bright and well laid out. I would recommend it. Didnt buy any weed here though. Visited April 7th 2006

Thought I might as well bring my September 2004 review bang up to date as I also visited the shop during my recent trip at the end of March following a failed search for Amnesia.

The place doesn't seem to have changed much and the staff there seemed quite happy for me to sit and skin up and recover after smoking (I did buy hash when I was there and also some freshly squeezed O.J).

Nice and bright and some mellow (early morning) music but the stairs down to the toilets are absolute killers and it is advisable that you actually check how much toilet paper is there incase you need to drop the browns off at the swimming pool.

Aging Boomers like Abraxas

Post by steve131 »

Just back from 10 days in AMS.
Found Abraxas on 1st day & it became our 'regular'.

Nice staff, nice stuff, high speed internet.

No hassle about not buying every time through the door.

Nice head shop next door.
