Anyways, back with the theme of the thread.......

I voted Grasshopper even tho i havent been in there, but I would now say Old Church is my least favourite shop (read Old Church in coffeshop reviews)... Would rather go to the Bulldog next door, :D :D :twisted:

I vote old Church too - they said you have to buy 2grams and get a drink before you can sit down - actually the woman behind the bar/bud area was shouting it at us... bitch

me & your 2 pals we met in MY bought smoke almost instantly, she didnt even give u,rei &lamps a chance 2look at the menu before she started moaning, what a twat

doesnt it want taking off the map? I thought any cafe forcing people to purchase anything other than adrink etc would be removed? The comments under the coffee shop on the map dont seem too bad, has it changed hands/ manager?

I thought grasshopper was a let down, i have only been to amsterdam once, but heard a lot of people mention it. Expensive and dark downstairs, we didnt stay long! I will hopefully have more input in the future!!

felt harsh here as i genuinly loved the buldog reminds me of my first 2 times in adam as a meer 17 year old ! :oops:
however i'd never buy my smoke in there no sir re!!
nice place if your not to botherd about product maybee just a stag do for the weekend its cool but for me and judging comments on site not for other conosirs either appoligies for spelling guys peace or war its up to us :roll:

didnt like coffeeshop ben really had that stupid buy your smoke now you buy a drink rule :oops:

apart from that only had the occasional "im the king of weed" bud-tenders from shops which i aint gonna mention :?

Id say rock it, quite a cool place not exactly bad staff, but the weed OMG i asked for durban poison and he presented me with what looked like a compressed brick of mexican schwag with several seeds in the bottom of the baggie, and the super skunk was very harsh and tasted like chemicals (thats putting it nicely) I may have had a bad experience anyone had anything decent there?

Grasshopper all the way for us, rude service and partly ignored us for most of the time we were being served.

As much as I would like to say you cant really get a bad coffeeshop, this one made me change my mind.

Grasshopper and Bulldog are my choices because of the vibe, just not my scene with a club atmosphere in the house even though on a different floor.
I am not sure I get this whole hat issue (Netherlands not UK); every shop I have been to whether in Maastricht, Eindhovem, Rotterdam, or Amsterdam, no problems. My hats contain no vulgarity and are clean. In the winter, I wear a skull cap or something similar, again, no problem. Maybe the problem is with the wearer and not the hat, just a thought.
