Perhaps send me a private message via this site, with an email address, and I can send you back a PDF or JPEG. The menu was just updated yesterday.

Cheers!

The gentleman in question, with the bandana, is actually Spanish. A very fine, kind individual and a decent friend and colleague. He is enthusiastic, loves his job, loves to get you all high! He speaks 6 languages and is an intelligent individual. He can get too over enthusiastic. I accept that. But aggressive the man is not.

Jose the Spanish lad, has to get up at 5am every morning, come rain or snow, to open that deal for you guys at 7am. He is never late.
I am telling you, he is aggressive...overly aggressive. Seemed like he was on steroids if you ask me. Anyway, i'm sure you never experience this, being the person who pays his wages. BTW I voted I liked Hunters I just dont like the budtender.

I'm sure he is intelligent, hard working, enthusiastic, etc...but is this any excuse for being pushy, rude and having an aggressive manner? If i am buying something from a respectful establishment, i expect to be treated a certain way...if i am buying drugs in the street from some dodgy guy i expect differently.

To me, if something was putting off a customer, and it clearly was putting off the people infront of me in the queue, i'd take it a little more seriously. Business is business, and there are plenty of other places i can take mine.
I know the Budtender you are talking about I was in Hunters on my last trip over in may 08 and it was the exact same for me, a pushy agressive prick with black hair and tanned skin, I picked something from the menu and he basically screamed no at me and proceeded to pick one HE liked, he obviously never heard of different strokes for different folks. Anyway I just walked away at that and left never to return to Hunters which is a crying shame as it was the first coffeeshop I was ever at and had nothing but excellent experiences from the other budtenders and Hunters great menu, just a pity I will not be back because of a steroid ridden knucklehead with a narcissism problem. But hey plenty of weed in the dam. I know you dont like to hear these things about yer budtenders Hunter but people do not like to feel bullied when they want to buy a gram or 2 of weed especially when it is an excellent CS with a budtender as its weak link.

I have just come back from the dam and hunters did it for me everytime. I have experienced NO attitude from ANY of the budtenders, if anything they are the warmest and friendliest bunch of nice guys you could ever meet. They all know their weed, know how to talk on your level, make good reccomendations and are amazingly patient plus they are also open with sharing their knowledge about their weed.

I had some spot on NYC Diesel, Lavendar, 100 % Sativa and LA Confidential from there, and you cant beat the quality at all! Everything I brought was weighed on the spot, no over selling or under weights all simply excellent quality draw which takes you to another level!

I think some people just go round coffeeshops picking them apart tbh. If someone has an issue with all of the coffeeshops then is it the coffeeshops faults or the person? Just something to think on because if you go round with a negative mindset when stoned then thats all you are going to attract and be aware of... The negative.

I went to most of the coffeeshops and only experienced warmth and helpfulness from all. Amsterdam is what you make it... Treat people how you wish to be treated and put yourself in other peoples shoes more, everyone is a human being, nt a robot, and everyone has good and bad days including the budtenders.

Peace

Well my friend I guess you were lucky not to get this certain budtender. I agree that Hunters have some absolutely great tenders The guy with the dreads especially, I for one do not go around as you say and pick apart CS as I am far to wasted to even think about it, though I dont appreciate some arrogant meat head telling me what weed to smoke and being pretty cheeky about it too. Yes people have bad days though they should have the maturity not to take it out on customers of all people, I have never given a budtender a reason to be ignorant to me as I was raised to say please and thank you (simple manners), its just a pity some CS employees dont take their manners to work with them. On many trips I "experienced warmth" its just a pity I didnt on my last CS visit, through no fault of my own.

well one thing that is clearly emerging from this recent debate over the budtender is how good everyone else is there and more importantly how good their buds are at the mo. Personally all this huffin n puffin has made me wonder how comes Ive not ever been to Hunters before, its on my list now - respect for Mr Hunter for taking the time to talk to us, not many would and I cant wait to get in there - BTW do they have an vapes?

Matt_B wrote:I like Hunters, the weed is good and the fish tanks along the wall are great to lose yourself in! What is it about fish tanks when you have been smoking?! Grabbed some Lavender (E9/g) which is a nice little smoke, not too heavy, and some Amnesia Haze (E14/g), which is pretty expensive but seriously messed with my head. It really is pretty strong. Like I said, the fishtanks are great, and after the Amnesia managed to keep me occupied for nearly an hour!
Amnesia Haze is one of my all time favorite strains. It has great longevity & strength, and the feeling is awesome. Best price for that is Willie Wortels Sativa - 5 grams for 48 euro and definitely one of the strongest I've ever had.

Hunters had some stuff similar to gunpowder in November that he was selling by the bag - 5 grams for 35 euro. He talked me into it and I haven't tried it yet, but it looks great.

Hunters never fails me, the NYCD is top notch and the SoGouda was a nice smoke on my last trip; they've never been able to top the kushage indica they had about 4 years ago though...

I'll put them up, cheers.
Boner, has the menu been posted? Could you also please let us know the link to FlyByNite's excellent new site, I have the old link which doesn't appear to be fully updated.

Went here on Saturday 20/02, in the afternoon. I had been picturing the NYCD since 1st trying it, and it didn't disappoint, the best I have ever tried in 'Dam & consistently the best too. Unbelievable stink to it, cured to pretty much perfection, this strain alone is worth the trip to Hunter's - all joking aside... whether you're down with Spanish budtenders or not!

Also bought some Lavender (1g at 10E/g I believe?), which was on a par with the stuff in Katsu (as we found out later). Super fragrant....no other way to describe it other than aromatic, with strong lavender/floral notes (I know this sounds like an aftershave review, forgive me). A little harsher than the NYCD on the inhale, although purportedly a Bio according to the menu.

Free papers and hot chocolate for the mrs & I, another great visit to Hunter's.

It's a shame quite a few others have had a negative experience here....I can only give Hunter (the manager) props for his honest feedback to the criticism.

He hasn't sent me them yet, I'm guessing he's busy, as soon as I get them I'll forward it to FBN and stick it up on here as well.
