on this occasion, we didnt receive a welcoming of any sort from neither the staff, or the locals- im not expecting handshakes or hugs, but someones face can say a thousand words, and i felt very unwelcome!
I have to admit there are some dealers at Mellow Yellow who can be very unfriendly but thats not the deal with everyone in the staff
I've never come across unfriendly dealers there man - there's that young guy who always brings in the fresh buds, gives free drinks and looks stoned.

This shop cannot possibly dissappoint with all the rave reviews.

mellow yellow was really good!! my girl and i went in after a long walk from the city centre after reading on here how good it is, and let me say it was reeeaaaal good! the man behind the counter was nothing but friendly and relaxed( funny enough)
we got some afgani black and it tasted gooooood!! the long walk back was alot better than the one there lol
i am going back there for sure when we go again purley for the quality of hash which was so soft by the way that when finally got back to the centrum and sat down in the boiling sun to roll another the combonation of the heat and softness of the hash made it tricky to roll it into worms!!! it literally stuck to the table and my fingers...
it does seem to be in a shitty part of the dam but you cant see that from the inside right?
the only bad thing i have to say is there was a sign on the windows sayoin do not open which was a pain in the arse because it was so hot.
anyway cany wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.. worth the long treck.....
found this place yesterday looking for the Blue Berry Haze and Orange Bud...walked out with Super Silver Haze and LA Confidential...thought the SSH was great, probably the best i've had since 2002 but the LA Con didn't hold up to that at the Green Place...

the blueberry haze is at Noon, its the only difference in their menu (and of course the ice-hash is made from bb haze instead of ssh )
Finally made it to MY. Wanted some of their SSH but it wasn't very fresh looking so we passed, the budtender agreed and set us up with something else that was very good, can't remember what though.
Very nice place. Music was a nice mix and not too loud and they have a Volcano. One of the better shops in A'dam.
One of the oldest coffee shops in the area and very popular as it was very busy when we visited it in the middle of the day. You can always tell the popularity when the shop sells merchandise of its own name which consist of t-shirts, lighters and hats. Entertainment with this shop was the best we have experienced with a separate room for the pool table, internet facilities and vintage arcade games throughout the shop. This is another café which appears small when you arrive but is in fact quite large inside with 3 separate rooms to choose from. The bar is quite large and has a standard array of hot and cold drinks on offer. The music comprised of some 70’s classic rock which was at the perfect level to still have a conversation with friends. All the tables where clean and the whole place looked well maintained. We also noticed that behind that behind the bar was a digital CCTV system with around 8 cameras which suggests they have had problems in the past or that they are so successful they can afford extra security. Seating was quite ranged giving you plenty of choices. The variety of drugs was quite vast and what we tried was more than adequate in quality.
My opinion of the shop was quite favourable even after suffering a seven ball defeat to the Pacman. It was commented that he back room could of easily been hotboxed, and next time we are in the area I am sure we will attempt it. The only downside to this coffeshop is the lack of any decent views as the shop is situated on a very quiet street. However this can be easily overlooked because of the happy atmosphere inside. A good score for a top five shop.
