The second person though was just influenced by the first, if you look in the Voyagers thread the same guy posted he'd been smoking it everyday for €12. I really think stoners is the answer to this riddle and we would have heard much more about it had such a consistently good strain suddenly been discounted at Voyagers. I bet it is €12, has been €12 and will continue to be €12elasticband wrote:
two different people above have both said 10e, that's what made me ask, why the sudden price drop from 12e to 10e Generally this is done when there is something not as good as normal, like seeded kosher for discounted prices..... so if it is 10e & not 12e what is wrong with it is all i am asking.

Re: What's Good RIGHT NOW: Real Time Weed Reports From Amste
I was in Amsterdam last week and got to sample many strains from many shops. Most pot was decent, but nothing was particularly amazing. A couple purchases were less than memorable and a few were above average. These were the standouts:
Mexican Haze @ 14.5 from Dampkring- Unique smell and flavor, creeping head high that cut through everything else I had been smoking for 4 days
Somari from Degraal- Looked crappy but smoked great. High mostly in the head, again it cut through the other intoxicants I had consumed so I rate it as better than average. Can't recall price but I think it was more than 12-13 euro
Silver Haze @ 11 p/g from the Loft- Amazing haze smell, great buzz that stuck with me for a couple hours at least. Made a repurchase immediately after smoking the first joint. Quality weed.
S5 Haze @ 11 p/g from the Loft- Smaller nugs than the silver haze but just as funky smelling. Great buzz, was another repeat purchase.
NL5xHaze @ 13 for 1.5 grams (prebagged special) from the Loft- This was the deal of the trip. Not super cheap but def killer value. Big, crystal covered buds that smelled perfectly piney and hazey. Buzz was decently balanced and come down was smooth. I bought 3 or 4 of these bags.
Warm Ears hash from Eerste Hulp- I called this "evil hash" after it wrecked the start of one morning. My lady friend got a little too high and we had to wait it out for a couple hours. I thought it was decent but it got her super lifted so its going on my list. I'm not a big hash connoisseur but I rate this one highly because it tasted nice and got my friend way too high. Can't recall the price but I think it was around 10-12 euro
So in general it looks like I enjoyed the haze varieties most and the Loft accommodated this better than elsewhere. I'm sure the rest of the coffeeshops in that chain have just as quality product.

Re: What's Good RIGHT NOW: Real Time Weed Reports From Amste
Hey guys,
I'll be making my first trip to Amsterdam next month, been looking trough this forum and checking out menus and reviews online trying to educate myself.
I'll be staying in the Out-West area, I think it's called, not far away from Vondelpark. From what I understand in this area I should be able to find better prices then in the center.
Now the big questions are; where to go and what to buy.
I'm looking for some good value but I'm also prepared to pay more for some excellent stuff.
Some coffeeshops in the area I'm definitely going to check out are Kashmir Lounge, Boerejongens and 1e Hulp - I've heard great thing about all three places.
Can you guys recommend any good stains/hashes in those places and other coffeeshops in the area?
Also, about edibles, or spacecakes, I've heard Paradox has the best/strongest cakes but then I've also read that there was some new law or rule, saying that edibles couldn't contain more than 1/3 gr of cannabis per serving or something so they are all pretty much equal in potency ?

Grey Berry from Grey Area (think it was bubblegum x blueberry) is one of the best so far, hits sneakily, hits hard but you get this pleasant mellow and a incredible couch lock. Shoreline is also really good, got mine from Rusland. Kosher Kush from Voyager is awesome too, mixed it with some charas from BasJoe (not great quality, but nice price) ripped my face off. Had to camp at a Coffeeshop. More reports to come, going to Dampkrig, bkue bird, utopia later.

"Super Super Polm" at coffeeshop De Prijs: sticky moroccan hasj that bubbles near a flame. 8 euro per gram or 6.50 if you buy a larger bag (3.5gr), the larger bag is a great deal.gunzo wrote: I'll be staying in the Out-West area, I think it's called, not far away from Vondelpark. Enjoyed the following particularly over the last few days:
Weed
Blue Dream (Utopia), Dr. Grinspoon (Amnesia), SFV OG Kush and Somari (1e Hulp), Shoreline (137), Strawberry Kush (t'Keteltje), Tangerine Dream (Barneys), Kosher Kush (Voyagers).
Hash
Roontang Valley (Anyday), Water Pressed Afghan and Otta (Bluebird), Maroc Du Soleil (Siberie), Grand Cru (Utopia), Shiraz (Amnesia).
Not many bargains on that list, but the Somari for €12/g and the Maroc Du Soleil at €10/g are very good value.

Oud West, you should get the Paradox space cake, it has 1g in each slice, and according to the forum it's the strongest. I have bought it, but not yet tried.
Other good shops that are close to you IMO are Grey Area (look for branches of a tree with leaves at shop sign height), Utopia, Dampkring, Kadinsky and Amnesia.

Thanks for the suggestion man, I've added De Prijs to the list of coffeeshops to visit and I'll give this polm a try.orle wrote: "Super Super Polm" at coffeeshop De Prijs: sticky moroccan hasj that bubbles near a flame. 8 euro per gram or 6.50 if you buy a larger bag (3.5gr), the larger bag is a great deal.
Thanks, all these shops are already on my list to visit, except Kadinsky - what's good there ?Dr666 wrote:Oud West, you should get the Paradox space cake, it has 1g in each slice, and according to the forum it's the strongest. I have bought it, but not yet tried.

I keep hearing good things about Paradox's space cakes and picking up a few will be among the first thing I'll to on this trip. Are there any limits on space cakes, like the 5gr with weed and hash ? (Not that I'm planning on eating more than one at once and risk dying
I've heard Grey Area has some of best quality in 'Dam, any specific strains you'd recommend ?

Re: What's Good RIGHT NOW: Real Time Weed Reports From Amste
The Grey Berry is really good at Grey Area, Kadinsky, hmm, it had a nice atmosphere and I think I bought somes maui haze that had a nice smell and maybe temple balls pr cream of some kind, not sure though. I do remember buying the weed at the coffee shop and a beer, Zot something, at the bar. And smoking at the bar while drinking the beer. Really nice combo to indica and hash. Think it was something nice and mellow really good stuff. Absolutely worth dropping buy and taking a look or just to smoke.
I'll write a list today or tomorrow of the weed I found good. But the Maui Haze and Grey Berry was/is ace.
