Batches obviously change. I've heard too many stories, especially around the Cup, of people going around the same day in the afternoon or coming back the following day, looking for that bomb ass dizzank that put them and 8 of their friends to sleep after the first blunt, and got some blatant impostor shit passing off as an excuse for quality bud.

Shame I smoked all of it, and as far as I can remember I only took a few (blurry) photos of my Raskal (1.1g bag, MINE was dank, I torched through that shit with pleasure) but I'll see if there's any publishable ones.

The stuff I got smelled straight of a tangy, zesty ever-so-slightly citric smell, but there were pungent overtones of general dankness which covered it up. The lemon smell was amplified as I broke the shit up in the grinder, and the buds were tight as hell, glistening with trichs. The famed, hyped-to-death "lemon fuel funk to the max!!!1 omg!" definitely came as I inhaled though, and the high was formidable.

It didn't floor me with its knockout power (but OG Kush is a sativa hybrid innit, so why should it) - it strongly relaxed me and gave me a rather overpowering confused, mindfuck-type high for the first 30 minutes or so, which was well-suited for passive activities but not at all for stringing activities or even thoughts together.

Will think so too and finally will report on it in a few days.. Will check in for some nice hash and at least i heard that they got the So Gouda on they're menu regular.. You know about the So Gouda, the first thing i thought after smelled it in, hm good questions where i first purchased the So Gouda, not sure if it was GA or another but thought it'll be the Grey Area cause they give me over my trips always something special and indeed new to me..

Blue Bad!

Post by Old'skool Paul »

ITS TRUE!

The weed there i had was soo bad.super skunk.I read all the posts and it is a nice place to hang and going back to a 2005 post,Van Halen is the man but i read nothing good about weed and even the better posts were saying 'hash next time' and i agree.Thing is i would not go bk cos the weed was like salt and turned into a thick black clump of hard ash that would not even fall off the joint when id smoked half of it.Only time on my trip i was ripped and it was 4 10e

Avoid if you like a smoke.go if you like a sofa apparently?

Apart from the scary stairs (especially when you navigate them high) there is nothing negative i can say about the place. It's one of the best coffeeshops to chill in. The prices aren't too bad either. Fairly friendly staff. Good buds.

My main criticism is that the pinball machine is too expensive. It is a great coffeeshop overall. There are so many dinstinctly different areas is sit in or even outside. Personally I like the balcony area with the vapes. They have some odd rules. They have a sign saying not to talk to other people and they are a bit fussy about letting you photograph their menu. They say it could be construed as advertising if it gets posted up on the web.

However they are very civilised and polite about all of their rules and their hash is indeed excellent. Funnily enough never gone here for weed always hash which I then mix with weed I've bought elsewhere. Not a place I always visit cos I'm really not much of a hash smoker. However for the hash lover it could be a top choice.

having talked extensively with the owner of bluebird, he is VERY concerned with following the rules in order to stay open. he has removed his address from everything, they are not supposed have it posted--as coffeeshops are not allowed to advertise! ...therefore the reasoning of menus-on-the-web-being-advertising is just bluebird trying to follow the rules imposed on them by others...

he also said they aren't even supposed to have marijuana leaves decorating the place...you won't see any out and about at bluebird...i've seen them in plenty of other places...as well as addresses on items (lighters, bags...etc..) you won't find that at bluebird...

...maybe that is why they've been around for 30 years!!

sometimes, even though it sucks, you gotta follow the rules...
