Used to always stop by this place when it was Blue Velvet. It had 2 pooltables and a crazy mural on the bottom level that completely messed with my head when on mushrooms once. The staff have always been super friendly here and we felt very welcome. I wouldn't claim it to be the best coffeshop but it has a nice vibe to it, if that makes sense. Since its been Greenhouse they have removed the pooltables and have a seating area downstairs now I think. still the same kind of menu. I tried the Royal Jelly here once, it was like 30 euro for half a gram, this is crazy money but it was an amazing smoke, never tasted or enjoyed hash like it and it gives a really nice buzz. I told my friend who missed out on the trip about it and for about 2 years we would argue with him about how good it was as he refused to believe "seriously how good can it be, its a waste of money man". Eventually when he came with us we all agreed to chip in for some more Royal Jelly so he could try it, if it was possible he would have eaten his words there and then, now he's the one who is telling me how amazing it is, lol. They also do a loyalty card where if you buy like six bags you get one free, like at Nando's but for weed(I guess this is more aimed at the resident or frequent visitor but still a nice touch). :D

We've just been to Green house and enjoyed it immensely. The coffee shop bud tender was polite and extremely helpful. Being first time visitors here, we wern't sure what to order. We explained we wanted a nice mellow smoke to start with and he happily explained the different types. As its my 40th today, we went with the Diamond girl. At first we didn't think it had too much of a buzz but then it hit us like a freight train and I think we wasted a couple of hours in there, playing backgammon and drinking Orange and coffee. We asked about tobacco and he said it was ok to smoke a joint with it in his cafe as the police aren't allowed to open up your joints....result! Excellant experience and nice music with comfy seating.

27/7/11 - service from the waitress was first class, and remembering me from past trips  :D, breakfast was top notch food, a little cheaper than barney's, still little pricey though.Shop was packed out, but first class service.

2g Nevilles Haze-hard hitter, but well to exspensive for what it is.
2g SuperSilverHaze- nice toker, with a good hit on it.

I had some super lemon haze here and a chicken burger (about 7 euro). Nice laid back atmosphere and the food was great, good weed and a nice clean glass bong for a 10 euro refundable deposit. Definitely worth a visit.

Looked at a fair bit in here, Kali mist, green crack, Hawaiian snow, Arjans haze number 1...all looked garbage. Got some Hercules, supposedly their fruitiest indica, tasted bland, bland indica stone.

I had quite the opposite experience at the one down by Centraal.

Bud tender was nice but they were finished with everything from KIng Hassan to Green Crack to Hawaiian Snow.

Settled on the Temple Balls (nice) and Super Blond Polm (mellow but nice) along with some Amnesia Haze that was nothing special but certainly not shit.

No way, it's a pity about the green crack. That would be on my top ten list. Also loved their NYD.

I went to Greenhouse Namaste on Waterlooplein last week and bought some Greenhouse Rif Cream at 12.50 a gram. 'Lekker hasj' with a really nice taste. Not overwhelmingly potent, but yummy. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Extra bonus was when a young couple sat down next to me. We nodded to each other, but did not speak. After a moment I heard something familiar. They spoke Norwegian, and since I was already pretty stoned, it was pretty fun following their piquant conversation
