nope, but on thursday, when we bought 1g, brian didnt stop stuffing a pipe with terminator until we left 
friday we bought 2g from the other guy, i think he gave us a little more, not sure
it is a very nice shop with relaxed budtenders and good service... they always ask everyone to sit down with a menu, so you dont have people standing around in the shop all the time, the really try to keep a relaxed atmosphere

After reading so much about this place, we had to stop by.
Its a dump. A boring, dingy shop. We walked to the counter and were ignored by the budtender until he finished what he was doing, so we stood around feeling uncomfortable for a moment. No one mentioned we should sit with a menu. So finally he asks what I'd like, so I got a gram of the bas special. Rolled it up in a pure joint and smoked it all myself. Harsh, and not tasty at all. (It looked decent though) Hardly caught a buzz, and since the atmosphere sucked we left and went somewhere else.
Maybe because it was after midnight and they were closing soon, but not a place I'd go back to. I didn't even ask about the terminator, but part of me thinks people rave about the weed here because they cover it in terminator and forget to mention that.

Great shop...I guess ZBeebs either came in at the wrong time or was a prick, either way i thouroughly enjoyed this shop.It had one of the nicest tenders in town. Unfortunatly it is true about them only carrying the hard terminator although it is still VERY good.
Now onto the smoking
When I came in this store I had one intention and that was to smoke a full gram of terminator in one sitting(no bathroom breaks, drink breaks, or fresh air breaks). I had told my friends before leaving that I would find a gram of the most potent stuff I could find and I would do them proud. I asked james(his dreadlocks were the craziest thing I saw all trip) if anyone had ever done it before and he just laughed kinda hard and said "no way". He then also recommended that I "take it easy", lol maybe he thought I was gonna freak out of something
Let me tell you guys right now, I have NEVER put as much smoke as I put in my lungs that night. I was Mega- White walling the RooR zumo I rented every minute for almost an hour. I cried a little and threw up in my mouth and had to swallow it back down. This stuff burns FOREVER, i mean seriously a tiny ball of this stuff would last like 25 minutes in a pipe.
With all of that said....I DID IT, i smoked every last spec of the terminator. After I was done james gave me a free gram of bas special, I dont know wether It was for finishing it or just for spening 62 euros there...I prefer to think it was the former
Lol immediatly after finishing it I packed up my bong and walked out the door. I have never been so high, it kinda felt like I was limping and I kept laughing at people in their face as I passed them on the street( I fell very disrespectful but I just couldn't conrtol it)
Anyways the next time I come I already have a new goal....2 GRAMS...1 Sitting

I'm glad you enjoyed your time at Basjoes, but you are out of line for insinuating that I'm somehow at fault for my experience there. Even if I was a prick (which I was NOT), how would that excuse sub-par weed and a dirty, drab, boring coffeeshop?
Good for you though, smoking a whole gram of terminator at once. Something to be proud of.

ZBeebs - perhaps if you'd tried Basjoes during the daytime or early evening as opposed to after midnight, you may have received a better reception?
I've been to Basjoes a few time now, and overall I would have to say that the vibe is extremely laid back. I've never had any problems with the weed or the vibes there.
The gooey Terminator did exactly what it said on the tin, and with the exception of one kid who freaked out whilst consuming probably way more than he should have, the atmosphere couldn't have been better.
I work in retail myself, and if a customer walks in five minutes before closing, they are simply NOT going to get the same service as if they had entered an hour or so earlier. These guys have a long day, taking care of tourists (and locals), and I'm surprised at how cool the guys are in here despite the idiots that drift in, buy the strongest thing they can see and then proceed to pull a massive whitey, usually disrupting the vibe with their antics.
But hey, variety is the spice of life - and if you don't like the place, vote with your feet and move on - there will be plenty more people happy to take a seat there and chill out. All I would say is this - don't dismiss a place when your first and only visit is just before closing time and you didn't like the vibes there.
Dirty? Nah. These guys run a very clean establishment.
Drab? Depends on your perspective - we don't ALL want neon-bright psychedelia.
Sub-par weed? Not once have I had anything less than good from there - but hey - it's all down to personal perspective. I can't always afford to buy gram after gram of Teminator, so I generally buy the weed - unmixed with anything. No complaints.
xxxdraqomxxx - no need for name calling, dude - that's definitely NOT the kind of vibe that Leo and James promote here. If ZBeebs didn't enjoy his experience then that's down to him - but ZBeebs... you can't expect the best of everything that late at night, fella. Again, if you really don't like the place, then cool - but do you think that maybe you didn't visit the place at it's best?

I Reread my post and It did come off kinda harsh, but please let me explain my reasoning... I didn't call you a prick. I said you could be a prick, I also said it could have been a bad time for the coffeeshop...Lets consider something, this is often refered to as one of the best coffeeshops in amsterdam. So I know it is not always crappy. So that means it MUST HAVE been either A: it was bad timing...or B: you are a prick( once agian i'm not saying you are one)
It could have very easisly been a bad time and therfore you are not a prick but I really don't think james could ever be caught at a bad time so maybe the other guy was wroking and he could be mean to people for all I know.

To comment on what has been said of my review:
I work retail as well, so I understand very well what good customer service means, and what the customers responsibility is as well. I was polite, smiled and said hello when the budtender looked at me, and was ignored while he continued to do whatever it was he was doing. I don't think it was the guy with the crazy dreadlocks I keep reading about.
I checked the timestamp on the picture I took of the bas special, it was 12:05am, meaning the shop was to be open for almost another hour. It was not like we walked in 5 minutes before closing. Regardless of time of day, I was disappointed in the bas special I had heard so much about. The smoke was harsh and not tasty, and the stone was nothing special. I did not buy any Terminator or try anything else on the menu.
What did I like? Bluebird was a nice place (plastic bongs were a letdown though), and the Quaze and Blue Cheese were top notch. The smoke at Grey Area was awesome but the shop tiny and cramped. Silver Bubble may have been the best smoke of the trip, the Grey Haze was good too, but the Yellow Cab was harsh and didn't have the power to it I enjoy. 420 Cafe was a nice, inviting shop with good smoke and a very friendly budtender. I enjoyed the bargain prices on SSH at Mellow Yellow (plastic bongs again here), but it was too warm and uncomfortable upstairs so we smoked quick and left. Amnesia is a great relaxing, comfortable shop, and the smoke was good. We also really liked HGF, and the cheese was top notch.

Hey ZBeebs I wasn't overly impressed with my first few mins in Basjoes bud. James's attention was hard for me to also find as he was busy washing up. I didn't give up and his face lit up once I mentioned ACD forum and asked about the Terminator. This coffeeshop will never be my fav spot, as HGF will always win (hands down) for me. Glad you liked it too ZB, the cheese is OUTSTANDING!
As for the guy who tells us about smoking a whole gram in one go... That tells me only one thing, since changing from the sticky gooey mess, it has defiantly lost some of its potency. Upstanding daily smoker (of nearly 20 years) here, no way I could do a gram of that in a sitting. No way. You would slip quietly asleep after the 7th or 8th hit…

With that said there is no way in hell you could ever fall asleep when you are yellow walling a RooR zumo every minute - 2 minutes...I don't think you are compehending how gross it is, this was not a pleasent smoke
If anything would have stopped me it would have been the throw up spewwing outta my mouth.....LOL i woulda loved to see james face if that had happened.
