Probably the nicest dealer's counter in town. G13 x Amnesia Haze is a winner.

Probly one of the only shops I didn't like! I liked the shop overall very nice and clean, however the budtender was very pushy, and the place was extremely crowded everyday I went by the place. I dont mind a huge crowd by any means but when its standing room only I rather smoke my buds elsewhere.

Wenn I vistited the Dampkring2 in April 2009 I realy liked the place!

Very friendly dealer, who had no problem with doing quite a few "samples" for me, cause I wanted to try a lot of strains but didn´t like to buy a whole gram of each...

The Rifman hash that was recommended by him was VERY good and really was worth the prize

And I liked the modern interior furnishing... I would describe it as "futuristic".

I remember talking to the very friendly (and cute!) barmaids... they served me a real good chocolate milk shake, and one of them was a VW T2-bus fan just like me!

I had a good time and will definitely return there next time I´ll be in town...

Visited Dampkring 2 in August 09 - couldn't find (didn't look that hard in truth!) Dampkring on Handboogstraat.

Probably the busiest shop we went to - queued for 5/10 minutes before getting served. Great menu, really good Cheese & SSH, the only 2 strains we bought.

Futuristic decor pretty much covers it...the place is very metallic as I remember, flat screens sunk into the walls showing random crazy videos. Not a place I would stop and chill in for long, but still recommended for the top notch menu and location on Haarlemmerstraat.

Going back to 'Dam in November - any suggestions on what I should try from the menu this time round would be totally appreciated.

Bought 1g of lavender and 1g f Rifman Laila. Shop was kind of empty when I popped in, (unlike Greenhouse just up road that was packed) which was a bonus.

Lavender had a nice taste to it but high wasn't particularly strong but for a first smoke of trip was acceptable. The Laila hash I think was really nice, I say think cause it was around 2 am and I was barely awake at that point anyway :D

Nice shop, nice dealers, good smokes - what's not to like. This time didn't get harassed into buying a drink either :)

too commercial

The old Pink Floyd was more to my liking (I'm different, I know). Being a bit older we enjoy a more homey atmosphere. This was just for a different clientel...the young and hopping crowd.

I thought their new concrete counter was very nice though...didn't buy anything from it though.

Liked this place a lot. bought two types of weed, laughing buddah and white russian. both good for daytime tripping. The budtender also recommended a hash that he said was almost as strong as their iceolator, and sold me a third of a gram. Bedtime was at 8 that night

Bought some cheese from here last night, and I've come back to it a day later to find it's all hard and crumbly. Is it meant to be like that? To me it seems stale and gross. Oh well I'll try smoking it and see what happens..

Have tried SSH, Lavendar, G13/Amnesia, from here during the Ic Mag Cup
in April 2009. These samples were smoked together with a few growers and
they all were impressed that these were from a coffeeshop.

From the information that I have, the strains that all the Daampkring shops
offer on their menu, can be bought at Bij for a better price. And as far as
I understand that is what a lot of folks are doing that live in NL.

Yeah, all three strains I bought from here were rock hard and crumbly the next day. They were in three seperate zip-lock bags kept in the same place as always. What gives? Still smoked ok effects wise, but the taste had changed heaps.

Also, I don't like the interior of the place. Super modern, computer monitors set into the counter, lots of grey and black granite. Not my thing I'm afraid, had a cheesey nightclub kind of vibe.

So I don't think I'll go back, although I walk past it most days might pop in again in the future if someone can give me a really really good reason to..
