Has been our home shop for the past few days. Amnesia Haze is a winner. No Cannaloupe or Champagne haze, will keep checking. Zootjes is amazing, very aromatic, tasty.
Great place to chill, nice seats, lovely staff.

I visited here on my way to another coffee shop but couldn't get through the inner door. Apparently, you have to by hash or weed from them in order to enter. Always a "no, no" for me.

So, you would be happy to spend 10 euros or so on product everytime you entered a coffee shop?RvanSteensel wrote:More bud for usthe machine rages wrote:I visited here on my way to another coffee shop but couldn't get through the inner door. Whilst I admire the sentiment. I think you are missing out. Club Media is a superior coffeeshop. IMHO the champion of De Pijp area. Both weed, hash, drinks, food, service, ambiance. Club Media is worth a visit.the machine rages wrote:I visited here on my way to another coffee shop but couldn't get through the inner door. Menu pics, taken today. The champagne haze is back but didn't get any as it was just crumbs. The Hindu Kush and the Motivation are standouts.

Wow that looks like a nice menu. Anyone know if they are open on New Years Day and also if I was to ask for 1/2 gram samples of 5 of their hashes and 1 weed would they be happy to do that?

Re: Club Media
If you choose to skip out on purchasing from Club Media you are missing a great opportunity to smoke some of the cleanest herb around. Sad...you're missing out on things for really no reason at all. If you tried 10e of Hindu Kush I could almost guarantee you'd buy more on the way out. You can't get into a sporting event or concert without paying for the ticket first, guess you don't see a lot of live events... shame.the machine rages wrote:So, you would be happy to spend 10 euros or so on product everytime you entered a coffee shop?RvanSteensel wrote:More bud for usthe machine rages wrote:I visited here on my way to another coffee shop but couldn't get through the inner door. That's a false analogy, in my opinion. I don't think it makes good business sense to insist that customers buy product before entering a shop. I rank it similar to having to pay for a piss. I like to sit down have a coffee and relax before ordering. I don't want to spend money on product prior to deciding whether I like the place or not. For me, a good coffee shop encompasses more than just the quality of the product on offer. It's understandable that owners get pissed off with people who sit for hours at a table drinking two coffees smoking somebody elses weed. But from my experience, this rarely, if ever, happens anyway. There are subtle ways and means of encouraging customers to buy your product and it keeps the owners on their toes. I'm certainly not going to spend my money in a place that has an entry card system in order to access it. It was no coincidence that this place was empty and nearby Katsu was packed.

Interesting post if what you say is true. Do you have to buy every time? Not hard to see why Katsu is more popular with locals and it is always easy to get a good seat at Club Media
