only thing that was wierd was they were playing the early skrewdriver when i was in. i wasnt expecting that. given it was before they were a white power band, but its still odd to hear in public.

Grey Area does in fact rule. I loved the place during my recent May 09 visit. On Day 2 they even gave me a free pack of papers, which may not seem like much, but I noticed there ain't a whole lot of free shit in Amsterdam, lol. The Sleestack was superb and worth the 16.50e/g. All of the purchases were great, which also included Chocolope, Yellow Cab, and Recon. The Yellow Cab has got to be one of the best values in town for 16e/ 2 grams.

One thing to consider is that the link is to a private business and NOT a medical MJ dispensary (Despite the site's name). The owner is a brave man, since he can, potentially, get busted for trafficking.

The Vancouver Compassion Club, OTOH, is a medical MJ dispensary and the cops will not bust it. (The VCC has an entensive menu) However, in order to use the Compassion club, you must be a have medical mj exemption and/or have some kind of legitimate medical need for it.

There were some places, in Vancouver, that openly sold grass/hash, but they have been shut down. (US DEA pushed Vancouver cops into busting them) Now, the few places that sell grass/hash tend to do it on the sly. If you know where to go and who to ask, then it is not too difficult to score.

The rental places, where you rent a flat/ B&B Room, and then they supply grass used to advertise, but I am not sure if they still do so.

I'd say, if you only want to score grass, then skip Vancouver, and go to Holland on your next vacation.

I saw a documenty about the DEA involing itself in Canadain affairs, kind of makes me wonder why the Canadain authorities allowed it to happen. Its like the Marc Emery case, i cant see why the Canadians would allow the US anywhere near him. I used to love the saying once told to me by a Canadian that America may be the land of oppurtunity, but Canada's the land of common sense. I wonder if that is still the case. Thats not meant to be bashing the US in anyway.

On the topic of Grey Area. I would not say that the prices here are good at all, some of the buds ive had from here are good. I enjoy the Yellow cab, its not so bad on price that particular strain, however its not a bargin by any means. I cant personally reconcile 16.50 euro for a single gram, but if your pockets are that deep give it a go. Nice buds can be found here, but its guna cost you a pretty penny to try them.

As good as Grey Area is, it is over hyped.

One reason for this "DEA in Canada stuff" is the gutless Canadian politicians let the US govt walk all over them.

The threat is that "they are going to close the border", which is complete bullshit. Canada is the US's largest trading partner, the US could not close the border even if they wanted to do so. THat kind of thing would detstroy both country's economies, so it won't happen. (They could NOT do without Canadian oil, electricity, and many other products. Likewise, Canada could not do without the US's exports.)

Also, Canada currently has a Tory government, and in the last decade the Canadian Tories have taken many pages from the Republican's playbook That is, they have gone from mainly being "fiscal conservatives" to being mainly "social conservatives" (i.e. more religious goofballs, anti-abortion kooks, prohibitionists, etc.), so they have no problem using outside rightwing agencies to do their dirtywork.

Finally, look at the UK's (supposedly) Labour government. For the last decade, Labour has had its nose buried so far up the the Yanks's/Bush's arse that I am surprised they have not turned blue from lack of oxygen.
Think about it, a Labour government being "pro imperialist war"? THe few Labour MP's who spoke out against the Iraq war were sacked.

Both governements (UK and Canada) have kissed US ass for the last decade, against the will of their people. Why?...I don't know. Maybe they have some incriminating photos? Maybe every other country is more afraid of the US than any other country in the world, so they comply rather than be beaten into submission?

its the Candian gouverment we got a the moment that let the DEA in vancouver! and wait FBI DEA and ATF are on theyr way it also cause of all the Gang killing most of these ppl are american/mexican trying to take over BC's weed and other drugs! The gouverment is also pushing the Marijuana law down the drain! at one point was ok to have 14g on you and grow up to two plants NOW they want change the laws again and start putting ppl in jail for any amount of Drugs! this Gouverment is PRO american so what ever the OBAMA desides our gouverment will go wit them!

about medical Marijuana in BC its easy to get the Medical card they ll even help you find something wrong wit you so you can get the card to buy weed! DONT KNOW IF YOU KNOW THE BLOCK WEED«« this where all marijuana place WAS at one time burned down in 2004! and now they are more sprayed out around vancouver
Tonronto Medical works diffrently «they will not help you get a doctor its up to you to find a doctor to fill out the forms« AINT EASY!! youll be LOL@ by them cause they DONT WANT to put theyre # so the gouverment knows WHO is giving out the OKAYS!

in quebec the same then ontario AINT EASY to get them filled out!
Here in montreal We got 2 Medic centres and one just opend in quebec city! price are way cheaper here then out in vancouver!
what i pay for KIMO 200$ an OZ is bein sold in Vancouver for 350$!
But un like vancouver you cant find G-13 haze or strain like that here it mostly canadian strain like Kimo M39 Freezland Hammerhead Hawaiian haze .... and BHP NL#X mx wit each other!
and if lucky like at last Xmas they had some Master-Kush « only time iv seem kush at medic center!!
